We were in town for the Salzburg music festival in August and stayed at the hotel for four nights in a "coutyard view" room. The staff was very friendly and helpful and all spoke excellent english. However, we found the beds to be very hard and the lack of air conditioning created a a difficult choice each night: either leave the windows open and listen to neighbors talking, coughing, sneezing, etc or shut the windows to block out the noise but make the room uncomfortably warm. (During cooler months this probably would not be a problem.)
