I booked this property directly and the price was pretty good for a one night stay. The only real positive things I have to say was it was very close to old town, shops, cafes and other shops. It also had internet terminals in the lobby which was useful and they are free. The rooms were also pretty clean. One the downside: The room was no larger than a closet. It was very small. Almost no room for luggage. The bed was not that comfortable but it was OK for a night. If you are looking for a good cost and something pretty central that it will work. Also do not fall for the 14 Euro breakfast. Right around the corner you can get coffee and things to eat for half the price.
When your in Salzburg, all the activity is in old town across the river. This hotel is on the other side. It's a walk but not bad. The hotel had "run out of parking" so we had to park three blocks away in a lot and walk back. Annoying. Similar to my other hotel choices, this place was nice...but not necessary geared for tourists as much as others and more business like. It was very clean, very modern and relatively close to stuff we did. The front desk staff were not that helpful. They didn't have recommendations for meals and "they machine was broken" to credit my NH account with points for my stay. They have a small gym in the garage in the basement. It has a few machines and a sauna. No big deal. Never ate at the restaurant and breakfast was not included. It was $20 euro for breakfast and that's just crazy for eggs when you do the conversion to US Dollars. They don't have a business "center" persae but have 2 PC's in the lobby for you to use. That was handy. Overall...it was fine. Nothing to rave about. Not bad, not stellar...just fine.
The hotel is located in a quiet area in the new town, but within easy walking distance to all the main sights in the old town, and the Mirrabell Gardens. It is handy to shops, restaurants, and cafes. Staff are extremely helpful and will assist with bookings for tours, taxis, or pointing you in the right direction for local buses for a trip out of town, or complimentary maps for sightseeing in the old town. The rooms are a good size, complete with writing desk and mini bar.

Just returned from 5 days in salzburg. Chose this hotel because it was the cheapest, and it had air conditioning.
Was a great little hotel, kind of like an upmarket Holiday Inn Express. Room was spotless, very comfortable bed, plasma screen TV ( only English channels were CNN and Sound of Music!), all the toiletries/shoe shine/sewing repair kit provided you could possibly want. Staff very polite and helpful. Couldn't get the hairdrier to work, and within 5 minutes they sent someone up to sort it out. ( our fault not theirs). We don't eat breakfast, but ate dinner here one night and was fine. It rained solidly for 5 days and they provided umbrellas free of charge. The only thing missing was a clock in the room so we could see the time on waking.
Would we stay here again? Absolutely yes, although seeing as 90% of what we wanted to see was in the old town would perhaps stay that side of the river next visit.
