“Quaint and convenient”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2013 via mobile

This hotel is conveniently located, a very short walk from the station. It is a 15 minute walk to the old town. The reception staff were very helpful with restaurant recommendations and walking directions.
Our room was very comfortable and included a small sitting area with a kettle, mugs, tea and coffee. The bathroom was very adequate. Breakfast was not included in our rate so we did not eat at the hotel. WiFi was included.

Just returned from 2 nights. The hotel staff were exceptionally hospitable making us feel welcome. The hotel itself is immaculate, warm and has nice touches for guests. The breakfast is very good quality and plentiful.
Will return again for sure.

This is a lovely hotel with a family feel rather than a corporate one.
The receptionist that checked us in (sorry I didn't get her name) was friendly and very helpful. I had booked in February and opted for a triple room as it would give my daughter and myself some extra space. In the room, there was
a separate entrance/dressing area with lots of storage cupboards and a lovely bathroom. The bedroom was L shaped so the beds were nicely spaced was clean and had everything we needed, tea and coffee making facilities and free internet (you get a code from reception) which was fantastic.
It's not right on the station and for me it was about 20 minutes walked to the old town, we'd walk down and get a taxi back at night for about 7-10 euros. Stupidly I didn't find out that you could 'handy day ticket' on the buses for 4.5 euros!
There is also a nice quiet lounge which is cosy and you can take your own drinks in,they do serve drinks at reception if you want and there is a bar/ restaurant attached but seems to be under separate management.
We loved this hotel and would definitely return.

We stayed here this summer and it was ok overall. The room was clean, neat and modernized. The parking was excellent once you figured out how to get into it. It has a subway restaurant just catty-corner to it. We stayed in a family room (4 people) which did make it an exceptional value. The downsides were we found the staff less than helpful and seemed put-out when asked about things. It is a far walk to get to old downtown but wasn't too awful bad. Wireless internet had issues with larger package sizes such as FaceTime. Overall, not bad. You could certainly do a lot worse!

Convenient for the station and turn right from front door to the river and a 20 minute walk into town. Very clean traditional hotel, helpful staff. Hotel on a busy corner, we had room 120 on the first floor which was very quiet when the double glazing was closed and thus had no problem sleeping. The shower room was a bit on the small side and no where to put soap bags. Adequate breakfast.

Lovely, spacious room with comfortable bed conveniently located near train station and public transportation AND superb staff. This solid 4-star hotel is excellent value. We would stay here again and would recommend to family and friends.

Although a little pricey for November, we have nothing but compliments for the hotel and staff. The room was very comfortable; staff was courteous; and food was excellent. We'll situated near the main station, an excellent stay.
