“Do you want to see Mozart's original sonnets”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2012

A nice visit to Mozart's residence. There you can see his personal belongings and some of his hand-written sonnets.

“Walk where Mozart walked”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2011

Walking through his apartment you can hear the music reverberate through the walls. It is a bit cramped but perhaps he wasn't that tall. How did they get around the narrow passageways with those voluminous skirts? Anyway, it was very interesting to see how he lived. Small ,men with big brains live like anyone and one day... others will walk through their space and this dream will be someone else's dream....

“Not worth the time of money”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2011

In three days in Germany and Austria, this was the one place where we felt ripped off. For 7 euros, the only substantial artifact is one of Mozart’s pianos. The remaining four rooms showed minor artifacts (scores, letters) and many were from other people to or about Mozart. A 30-minute film was advertised as being in German and English, but our viewing was exclusively in German with no subtitles.

“Disappointed we cut other things short to come here”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2011 via mobile

We rushed over here at the end of the day and afterward we wished we had skipped it. The home is not furnished as it would have been when Mozart lived there. Each room contained random Mozart artifacts (e.g., the last letter his father wrote before he died, some books that had been in the family library, etc.)

The movie could have been interesting but the German version was playing and we weren't going to wait 30 minutes for the English version. Subtitles would have been nice.

“No need for ticket or ear-phones”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2011

The house were Mozart lived: there is no need to purchase a ticket to visit though there is a 'ticket-counter' when one enters. This is to get the guided tour 'phone', though information is given in German and English next to the exhibits. and thus the phone guided tour option is not really necessary, though viewers can hear music related to the exhibits and this will certainly appeal to a number of visitors, though not all.

Definitively worth while the video about his life in the end room (and exit from the exhibit area) though the wooden floor becomes a hindrance to hearing the audio when children or people trample over it to go out.

It is nice to see the pictures of Wolfgang's family members and it's a bit like looking into somebody's photo album.
