Yes, we got a Salzburg card, they are so worth it. Managed to visit the State rooms on our last day as it had been closed for functions previously and it was definitely worth it. The audioguide was great and, as it is tucked away, there were very few visitors when we went. The balustrade you can see at the bottom of the picture of the large room (above) are made of metal and were meant to be played. You still can, which is great fun.
The Gallery is fine, with some lovely paintings, but the highlight was the "comfort facilities". We understand that Japanese visitors would be familiar with this, but it is the first time we had encountered a loo that revolves and washes itself after use. Brilliant - how easily entertained I am!
