“Lovely garden; wonderful concert”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013 via mobile

The garden is pretty, even in December. At night, they have concerts inside that let you go up a glorious staircase to enjoy excellent musicians in an intimate setting. The concerts are serious music experiences - not contrived for tourists - and are not held every night, so you need to look into the schedule. But if you like music, you will love this opportunity to experience a 19th century salon. And there is even a small Christmas market outside to let you enjoy a punsch or gluhwein and treats and/or do some shopping before going into the concert.

“Best spot for Salzburg photo”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

Nice palace, with beautifull gardens offers you best spot for grat picture of Salzburg. It's a pity that we visited it in winter, because flowers and gardend is few times more impresive in spring.

“A beautiful garden”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

We travelled twice to Salzburg once in early spring where the gardens are at their absolute best but again in winter. Even though most of the garden is closed in winter you can walk around the exterior and take photos so you do not need to miss out.
Great for those 'Sound of Music' Fans who just want to see where the spots of the movie.

“Unmissable! Even you are not a Sound o f Music fan”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

Very well cared garden with lots of flowers and colours. Very good trip with children! You will have the opportunity to get amazing pictures there. It is unmissable if you are a Sound of Music movie fan (Noviça Rebelde in Portuguese).
