Great hotel with big and tidy rooms and excellent staff, who were happy to make special arrangements for us such as wiriting up a separate evening menu in english for us each night, even though there were only a few english guests staying in the hotel. They also were happy to prepare the spa facilities for us to use on the departure day even though there were no other guests in the hotel until the evening. Although the pool was relatively small, the water was warm and the massage and counter-current jets were a great feature. The 3 sauna's were also excellent.
The food each night was brilliant with choices for everyone, always amazingly presented with things we would never even have tried before (e.g. Ostrich). There was also a great salad buffet every night!! Would therefore definitely recommend half-board as there didn't seem to be many places to eat outside of the hotel.
The location of the hotel is ideal, right in the centre of the resort, with easy access to all the stores and ski hire shops. Only a small walk to the gamsleiten lift, but it snowed so much while we were there that we could ski right from and to the boot room via an off-piste shortcut.
Great skiing in the resort, and although it's not a huge area, the off-piste provides more fun and the bowl layout means that your never too far away from the resort/hotels, which makes it very difficult to get lost. The modern lift system meant that the resort never really got busy, even for half-term, and the covers on most of the chairs were definitely needed!! We would recommend this hotel to everyone and would definitely return.
