I stayed in the "Graben 3" appartment as you can choose from 5 different appartments spread around Linz.
The Graben 3 is centrally located in a artist building and has a lower floor with TV (standard one) and 2 chairs and a nice bathroom.
On the upper floor there is a bed for 2 adults and a children's playing floor, so it's suitable for a max. of 2 adults as you will not able to walk into the children's floor.
You leave the appartment and you are straight in "downtown" Linz near the Dabube river with coffee shops, restaurants, museums etc. around.
The hotel seems to belong to the Kolping Hotel which is a reasonable partly government run hotel where you can pickup the key PIN for the appartments.
To be honest the appartment is very individual but NOT newly furbished and it's and old building so dont expect a modern interior or design. Anyway if you want to stay away from the hotel crowd this will fit your needs very well.
There's a small Minibar with a few drinks but it's better to bring your own drinks! Around the corner are many breakfast/coffees and restaurants just a stone throw away. Parking is during weekend Sat 12:00 until monday morning free on the streets (you have to look yourself) or is charged around 15,--EURO for a whole day in the nearby parking garages.
It's different but worth a try....
