Durnstein is a beautiful village on the Danube, worth wil to stay for a night. Hotels are crowded, so we got outside town in the gartenhotel, said 900 m from the shipstation where we arrived. A good walk with the luggage, "We could have picked you up" they said upon arrival. How to know that before? So try first to find a hotel or zimmer in town.
Announced "Powerfull breakfest": reality :sundymorning, little rain, 9.15, one sheet of chees on the banquet table, cold awfull coffee, cheap bad quality orange jus, yoghust just empty cup. Bath did not release the water; creditcard? "we prefer the bankomat. A nice word of welcome or appologize? Not at all. Potential of the hotel, ok, but they should work on it, particularely because they are outside the town.
