So I spent one night in the Le Meridien during a conference and I liked it a lot, maybe because I was lucky enough to get a sea view room which was perfectly quiet (apart from the construction noise during day time). And it had a private balcony with sea view, of course.
The room itself was nothing special, but the location is really outstanding. Most meeting rooms have sea view and private terraces. Large garden/terrace area and swimming pool, of course closed for the winter, in front of the small private beach. That beach is tiny and the sand is more like stones, nothing compared to other places in the mediterranean, but you won´t go to Monte Carlo for a beach holiday, right?
The staff was mostly friendly (reception more, restaurant less). I have no comparison as this was my first visit to Monaco, but I will keep the Le Meridien in good memory.
