“Amazing Holiday!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 days ago NEW

We stayed here in June 2014 and I've only just signed up to tripadvisor as found it useful for when I was looking for a holiday in Cyprus! We had the best time ever, it was a fabulous hotel and perfect for us two. It was really trendy and our room was fabulous. The balcony was huge, i have never stayed in such a nice hotel abroad. It was like a luxury apartment, decorated the perfection, loads of space and everything we needed AND MORE! We had breakfast every morning which included a massive choice on food and it was all superb. Never stayed in for lunch/dinner so can't comment on that. We got the bus which runs all the way down the coast which is excellent, we used it everyday. We went to the harbour most nights which had loads of fantastic places to eat (the way as you pass Lidl). There is a Lidl straight across from the hotel which was great to get some last minute supplies and we got some prosecco some nights and sat out in the hotel and watched the sunset before we went out. It was perfect we loved every minute of it. There was plenty of sun loungers round the pool and it was nice and quiet.
We also went to a water park which was also by the bus which was fab - it was a good day out. We also went to coral bay beach which was lovely and they have a nice cafe and loads of water sports (jet skis, banana boat, paragliding).
Would highly reccomend this hotel - Paphos is a lovely place!

We stayed here in November 2014 and loved the hotel. We requested a room upgrade before leaving the UK and were somewhat disappointed with the location of our room. There is nothing but wasteland or building sites around the hotel that can make its location seem unattractive unless you ask for a room overlooking the pool. These are much better. The food was great with plenty of choice at meal times and the breakfast was the best I have ever had anywhere. Our room was comfortable and clean although, due to all the dust, the floor got dirty quickly and you could not walk around it with bare feet without them becoming black! The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the pool on the sunny side if you like the sunshine or the other side if...

Its clean, nice food, nice rooms and clean. We went with the baby and they put us baby bed clean sheets (very important when you have babies)
The staff was kind and they help us a lot.You can find minimarket in the hotel.
Clean outside pool even in winter that they dont use it but they have inside pool and spa.
Big gardens but im disapointed that you have to pay for wifi and also that its full of rocks and you cant swim in the sea.

This hotel has done well to be disabled friendly and to provide adapted rooms. All public areas with the exception of the beach are accessible .We had a disabled suite and there was plenty of room for a wheelchair. It had both a walk in shower and disabled toilet and another bathroom. The furniture was functional rather than truly comfortable. The kitchen area was well provided but had limited cooking pots and pans. The cleaning staff did a very good job indeed and the reception staff went out of their way to help, and although there is no porter service the reception staff did help my wife to get things to the room. The indoor pool, because of its quirky design, is unheated even in the coldest winter. The restaurant provides an excellent breakfast catering for all tastes. The evening meals are more variable we had an excellent chinese buffet but our other evening meal was only OK. There are a number of maintenance issues which if done would greatly enhance the finish to this complex, which while currently good could be better.

Room Tip: all the disabled rooms are inland facing and at the moment that means a bit of a building site as th...

Loved it. I didn't wanna leave!
We took a simple room but we were satisfied with it size and the bath size. Everything is new and clean.
The pool is beautiful with the view to the sea.
Liked the area of the spa and inner pool.
breakfast was OK - I would prefer more vegetables variety.
(The shore is with rocks - I don't think one can swim there)

Great staff, lots to do, helpful, once upgrades a finished it'll be fantastic..we loved it here nd loved both the rooms we had 408 and 331. 408 has inland view but huge space. 331 smaller but balcony sea view and 2 toilets. Perfect for us. Pools were cold but we loved them as being New Zealanders we adapt easily.

A friend and I have just returned from a 10 night break to Cyprus, and we stayed at the capital coast resort. I must state that prior to the break, I broke bones in my foot - I contacted the hotel - and they were very helpful. They gave me a room within metres of the lift, so there was no long walk to the room. The room itself was large, with a kettle and fridge - all you really need. It was a side sea view and had a great view of the ocean and the coastline down towards the Paphos archaeological park. The photos on the site are very true to what to expect. The view from the hotel dining room and the bar to the sea is wonderful - especially to watch the sunset. The pools are amazing (although they were freezing cold given that it was winter!). The hotel was exceptionally clean. The entrance to the Hotel was being updated whist we were there. The marble slabs were being replaced with stone slabs - far safer when wet - but despite this - the entrance was immaculate, and the workers laying the stones were lovely - ensuring that I was OK to make the one step rather than the slope that was out of use. All of the staff were lovely - the reception staff - who sorted out TV and gave us ideas of where to go and visit - the restaurant staff who carried my plate to my table and ensured that everything was OK. The lady behind the bar (sorry - I have forgotten her name) who made a wicked brandy sour! Perhaps the only two down sides - and why I have not give n it a 5 star review - was the food became rather repetitive at even meals - and had dried oregano on almost every dish - a shame given that it grows in the wild on the Troodos Mountains, and the lack of free Wi-Fi to connect to in the room - or even in the public areas. Otherwise, I had a really restful 10 night break - and will return to the hotel - perhaps on a bed and breakfast basis - and have a suite next time - so that I prepare food that can be bought locally. The hotel is good for those with limited mobility - you can access all area with the lift, a real bonus - we didn't book because of this - but after the mishap before the holiday - it was a real bonus. Thank you all at Capital Coast Resort and Spa for your dedication to ensuring a good break was had!
