“Beautiful scenery”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2014

It is a restaurant with basic food: the menu is fixed with a salad, grilled pork and chicken and roasted potatoes. The quality of the food is always good, the price is reasonable and the view of the sea is beautiful.

“It's a rocky road but worth it!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2014

Stunning views and well worth a bumpy ride up a dirt track road. The menu is barbecued chicken or pork served with salad and large tasty chips. You won't do this every day of your holiday but try it once.

“The Last Supper”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2014

The end of the world. Well not quite but nearly the end of Cyprus only the rugged Akamas and sea stretch out before you.
Close to the Avakas Gorge, well worth a visit if you have time before dining on barbecued chicken / pork accompanied by salad and massive chips to die for washed down with local ale.
Epitomizes the Greek / Cypriot alfresco dining expieriance seated at solid stone tables under the grape vines, we always take our guests for a meal on their last day before flying home.

“Simple food in a great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2014

The Last Castle is not easy to reach but is certainly worth the effort. Chunks of chicken and pork rotate on spits above a wood fired barbecue before being served with fresh salad and giant, perfectly cooked, chips. Great food in anastoundinglocation

“Wednesday Lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2014

When we were flying to Cyprus, our neighbour on the plane who went there often, told us about a fantastic restaurant up in the hills which was only accessible via cart track. So we planned to visit Viklari before we went home. Two days before the end of the holiday we set off. We had reconnoitred the route beforehand so we arrived on time for lunch at 1:00pm. It turned out to be just as good as everyone had said. The food was fantastic, both the chicken and pork are to die for, crispy on the outside, tender and moist inside. Either meat comes with a local salad and roast potatoes and was all washed down with a carafe of local white wine which was very palatable. The view is great and it was quite interesting to see which drivers were going to chance the last section up to the restaurant, The one surprise was the bill. At 31 Euros for the meal including the wine I had to check whether we were being charged enough.
