“One for the list!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2012

We have just returned from an 11night break at the Royal Beach, this being our second visit.
As a return guest we were given a discount card which allowed us to save 10% on any food or drink. Every little helps as the saying goes.
Friendly....Clean....Wide choice of excellent food....Comfortable room....Plenty of sunbeds....Peaceful and hassle free.
We did absolutely nothing other than enjoy all of the above. We have returned home exausted and need another holiday!
Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so enjoyable. See you all next year.

Like the comments from other guests our loyalty also means nothing to this hotel. We had booked a week at the end of September ( our 3rd visit to this hotel) and were informed last week that the hotel is overbooked and that they were planning to move us to the Athena Beach Hotel instead. We would not accept this as this was not the hotel we had chosen and have chosen an alternative that is not part of their group.

We won't book this hotel again as the holiday we had chosen has been spoilt by them

My wife an I spent a week here in September following good reviews. We are frequent visitors to Cyprus but have not stayed at this hotel before. We were not dissapointed. My wife is disabled and has walking difficulties.
Check in was quick and easy and I was particularly impressed that the receptionist took time to talk directly to my wife who was in her wheelchair. This is a small point but it rarely happens.
Room was clean and tidy with enough hanging and storage. a typical Cypriot hotel room but with the addition of tea and coffee facilities, bathrobes, slippers and fresh fruit on arrival.
Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food.Pool area was good with plenty of sun beds that were well spaced out.Bar sevice was also very good. Entertainment was typically hit and miss but generally pleasant.
Whilst the average age of visitors was quite high there were a variety of age groups.
My only criticism although we knew before we travekled, is that there are no disabled rooms with walk in showers. They only offer baths with a seat over.
We really enjoyed our stay and would visit again.
This is smaller relaxed adults only hotel with a touch of class about it.

Having stayed at this hotel twice before and can honestly not say a bad word about it, we decided to rebook for a week in september 2012.The bookings were made through our travel agent and everything was confirmed,I even E mailed the hotel with a request for a double bed instead of 2 singles.I recieved a confirmation reply that my request had been noted, and they were happy to be of service to loyal returning customers. So to my great surprise 2 weeks before we were due to go on holiday, we found out via a family member who was booking the same weeks in the Athena Beach Hotel next door, that we had also been moved to this hotel without our knowledge, on contacting our travel agent etc regarding the matter, they were no wiser then ourselves. So the question was when would I have found out ?
I feel greatly disappointed by there actions because as stated its a great hotel, but LOYALTY MEANS NOTHING

Pay for 5 star if you want but it won't be better than this. Start your day with a breakfast fit for a King, swim in one of 3 exceptionally clean pools, lie around on a comfortable well spaced out sun bed, lunch at their Olive Tree cafe (pick your own fish if you want), all this before happy hour cocktails and a themed evening with more great food. You will also be hard pressed to find more friendly welcoming staff, their only aim to ensure you have the best holiday you can. Would I go back? In a flash.

Gorgeous hotel and a memorable 2 weeks. Hotel is exceptionallly clean and the 3 pools are fabulous with jacuzzis. We were very disappointed on arrival to find that men have to wear long trousers and sleeved shirts to evening meals though! We had to eat out every evening due to this and if you havnt budgeted for this, the holiday can become quiet expensive! Thomas cook did not make us aware of this at the time of booking, but rep stated it was in the small print? Hmmmmm, must have been VERY small! The whole evening meal episode made us feel a bit left out from other activities.

Just returned from a week away, and not a lot I can add to the other reviews. It was a fantastic hotel. Had never been to an adults only hotel before. Though I had been to Constantinou Bros hotels before (Paphian Bay when it existed) I'm 22 and went on holiday with my mum as we both wanted a break and the ability to chill without children bombing in the pool. All the staff were stars, little extras by the pool such as cold towels and frozen fruit were a lovely touch, rooms were immaculate. Pools were beautiful, and aqua gym was really good fun. Lost inches over the week from only doing that! The food in the hotel was amazing, a wide variety of options (the taramasalata was beautiful) and all waiting staff were attentive and helpful. Happy hour was very good, cocktails professionally made and some of the best I've had. Reception staff and hotel porters were all very helpful and polite. All in all a fantastic week. Fantastic hotel and look forward to returning as soon as I can! Only fault I could pick was that the beach had a lot of broken glass on it, though this may not be a fault of the hotel as such, and perhaps the municipal authority?
