“Must See”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2014

What an amazing experience. Our family, (nine year old and 11 year old) visited the Archaeological park. An amazing experience to see.
The park is well set out. It is a large area so be prepared to walk. We took the advice of other travellers to bring water and wear walking shoes...great advice-thanks.
Our children came out with many questions to research after seeing the mosaics. They thought it was amazing to have a glimpse into the past.
One of the highlights of our Cyprus trip.

“Uniquely good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

This was easily the best thing about Paphos. The mosaics are astounding, and extremely well housed. It's a big site, but that means there's a lot to see. Really excellent value for money.

“Great experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2014

At first you have to have in mind that the area covered by Kato Paphos Archaeological Park is vast so prepare yourselves. Avoid visiting midday, since you will not find any trees in your way and bring some water with you, although you will find a vending machine, just near the House of Dionussos. The mosaics were indeed incredible, we just couldn't have enough. We would prefer to find more about the history of each mosaic. In some cases there were only 1-2 sentences describing what you see. It would be rather easy to replace them with a more detailed text, greek history is so fascinating!! There is a parking area just outside the entrance. The entrance fee is currently 4.5 euros.

“Requires a lot of walking”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2014

This is well worth a visit although be aware you will need to cover a vast area to see all the attractions. for the price it is brilliant that you can visit a ancient theatre, ruins and odeon which is located right on the harbour next to the shops and bus station
