We are just back from a week's stay at this great hotel.
Our son was getting married in Paphos and there were 25 of us over for the wedding. We were all staying in different hotels around Paphos and our hotel was by far the best as regards location. It is right on the sea front with the most stunning viewsof the harbour and 2 minutes walk from the night life.
It has to have the best location in Paphos.
the staff are lovely and very helpful.
The rooms are a good size and very clean and the pool area has plenty sunbeds and a large pool and Jacuzzi.
The food was well presented and was fine for us although there
wasn't a great choice. Bed and breakfast is probably the best option as there are loads of great restraunts round about.
Ask for a seaview room as it is well woerth the extra cost.
A great hotel for the money.

This was our second trip to this hotel and after requesting our room 309 we were granted our wish and had a very pleasant 4 night stay at the Portapafos hotel. We enjoy the location & friendliness of staff. I do hope they will soon give the hotel a refurb, as it is in need, although I suspect the price will go up. It is great value for money if you book direct.
The street cafe attached the hotel is great for an evenings relaxation, with a lovely ambience & good service.
Sea view recommended, but a word of warning! Don't close your balcony door as it will lock if you are on the outside!!! Our poor neighbours did this and had the full heat of the day on them until finaly attracting attention!!! Bless them!
Highly recommended hotel for value, location & friendliness.

“Great”

We have just returned from a week at the Porto Paphos, initial thoughts were, great location until we saw what was classed in the brochure as the beach!!! Just a strip of concrete with sand added. Very rocky and not somewhere you could really soak up the sun for a day, next to the car park!!!

The hotel staff are excellent & very friendly. The food requires a little more attention around variety and they definately need more than one toaster at breakfast!

Overall very pleasant stay, would say that the hotel needs a little TLC as looking a bit on the shabby side!

Met some great people there especially the Welsh golfers gang!

“Very Convenient”

Booked a package after reading reviews on tripadvisor, and we feel we definetely made a wise choice (our hour of reading various reviews was worthwhile).
The position of the hotel is fantastic, right in the centre of Paphos.
We had a terrace room right by the pool, which meant we could just walk straight on to our sunbed, and just have a lazy day until we felt hungry, and then we could choose from any of the many.
The breakfast was not the best we've ever had, but it was OK.
This hotel appealed to us because we did not want a 500 room hotel, we did not want hordes of people or loads of kids, but we did want to be central to the town and the 'sea front', and we wanted a small pool to laze our days away. We had all we wanted.

My wife and I just returned from a 9 night holiday at this wonderful little hotel. The hotel has the best location of any hotel in Paphos, five minute walk to numerous restaurants and shops. The hotel has one of the cleanest pools I have ever seen, I saw the staff checking the water quality thru out the day. The rooms were clean, maid service every day,sea view room a must, the breakfast was very good. The entire staff were very pleasant and helpful to me , gave me directions, looked up phone numbers to restaurants, quick check in and check out. The entire hotel was clean, clean ,clean.I had a hire car and never had a parking problem, gated parking. Very safe and honest hotel, left money laying around , left room to swim, go to store and never locked terrace door. Donot know about lunch or dinner meals, to many restaurants in area, but they do have theme nights that looked interesting, also offer meal discounts for so many meals in a week. To sum this hotel up for the dollar(I am American) this is without a doubt the best deal in Paphos, I booked over the internet, got a good price. About $126.00 per night seaview room, You will not go wrong staying here, it made my holiday a success. The room is plain and simple, don't expect a dresser full of shampoos, or hair dryer, if you want that walk 15 minutes down the street to Alexander the Great and pay about $350.00 per night more for a room.
