I went to Paphos in September 2004 and it was one of the best holidays I have had, weather was scorching, nearly 40C some days. The hotel was a little below my expectations for a 3*+ but we had a large room and it was clean. The pool at this hotel is fantastic and the staff are very friendly. As with other reviews I read before I went, you can't complain about the number of sun loungers, there is plenty for everyone. There is a friendly dog in the reception area and a few cats about but they were not noisy as we thought they may have been.
While we were there we visited the mosaics, Tombs of the Kings among many others, all well worth seeing. Just at the bottom of the road from the hotel is a restaurant called Fat Mamas and the portions are huge!! Also went to a very good Thai restaurant on Tomb of the Kings road, think it was called Phuket, very reasonably priced.
We also flew to Egypt for the day, I would highly recommend this trip to anyone. It cost approx £220 English ppunds which may seem expensive but was well worth it. You dine in 5* luxury, cruise the Nile, see (and go in ) the pyramids, Sphinx, Papayrus museum, Egyptian museum and even a night time bazaar - amazing!
