From outside the Thalassa doesn't look much, but inside it's a different story. Our room was lovely and as we arrived late, there was a cold plate of meat, cheese and fruit left in the room for us.
Breakfast was superb. Even though I don't really like buffets, the choice was extraordinary, the quality great and the quantity such that we didn't eat again until dinner.
Our room overlooked a little lawned area and steps down to the sea. One day there was a wedding taking place outside and we had a birds eye view.
We didn't use the spa, but it looked superb. The pool was great and the towels were in plentiful supply; you could choose sun or shade all around. Coral Beach is a lovely beach, but there is not a lot else around, so plan where you want to go before you arrive and get your trips organised on day one.
The restaurant food was beautiful but eye-wateringly expensive, so we ate there once and then walked into town each night for a three course meal for the price of the starter at Thalassa.
The room was meticulously cleaned every day and towels changed twice a day. The staff were very thorough and friendly. the one problem we had with a blocked drain was dealt with instantly.
Overall good value for money.

My partner and I were fortunate enough to be accommodated here as the Coral Beach Hotel was being refurbished.
This hotel is an adult only hotel and affords quality,luxury and professionalism from the outset. We were made very welcome by Euan and stayed in an outstanding suite that enabled us to watch the most beautiful sunsets.
The service throughout the hotel is first class. Olga and George in the restaurant made us feel very welcome and George the General Manager has a great sense of humour.
We used the spa facilties which were excellent, the food is superb and the staff were excellent at recommending dishes to us.
We would have no hesitation in returning and are already planning for next year.

We were moved to this sister hotel as the one we had booked was being refurbished. Unfortunately we had children with us and this is an adults only hotel. Yet, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Its a very professionally run, quiet, hotel with a lot of staff to guests. They were impeccably attired, polite, friendly and this is a well oiled machine running at top level. The rooms were clean, turn down service removed all used towels and replaced them twice a day. Very comfortable beds, lots of hanging space in the wardrobes, which lit up when the doors opened which was a nice touch. In fact lots of personal touches from the ducks in the baths to the hot milk with coffee in the restaurant. Food was fabulous EVERY meal and the views were glorious. Travelled all round south Cyprus but felt in the end that Coral Bay was the nicest part anyway. Should mention the Zoo, lovely day out, animals all seemed very happy with lots of space but the bus DOESN't take you anywhere near it. However as we were walking up the zoo owner went past in his car and took us in two trips up there!! Its a really lovely setting and there are peacocks strutting about all over the place, excellent, VERY clean restaurant with huge choice - Cyprus bus service are crazy not to provide transport up there.

Its been a long time since we stayed anywhere with such attentive friendly staff. The hotel itself is in a wonderful location, and the views are perfect. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and the finishing touches such as candles and lanterns and fresh fruit were lovely. The restaurant and bars offer a wide variety, and in terms of recommendations and attentiveness, the staff are prepared to go that extra mile for you. If we return to Cyrpus, we will pick the Thalassa without question.
