Not wishing to be rude but.. If you can find fault with this hotel you probably don't deserve to be staying there.

The Thalassa Hotel and Spa, with its beautiful dark polished wood floors, quality fittings and state of the art spa, happily combines old style luxury with up to the minute innovation. It was the first boutique and spa hotel in Cyprus but shows no sign of weariness. It is small enough to be friendly and personal, yet large enough to offer every amenity one expects from five star accommodation.

Situated in Coral Bay, a €20 one-way taxi ride from Paphos town, it is in a wonderfully peaceful and sunny spot. This tranquility is helped in no small measure by the managements' no children' policy. And this hotel is clean... I mean absolutely spotless!

If sunbathing is your objective you will think you are in paradise, especially in July when we had 32 degree cloudless, insect free skies every day. Sunbeds around the pool are plentiful and comfortable, with fresh covers and towels placed on them each morning. There's none of this racing out at dawn to reserve your sunbed with a book malarky! The pool, although not large is warm and inviting. You will love the complimentary skewer of fresh fruit that is served to you by the pool attendant at 11am and welcome the iced flannel scented with lemongrass delivered to cool your brow in the afternoon!

Breakfasts are overflowing with goodies from the hot and cold buffet. If smoked salmon and champagne is your idea of starting the day right, then you have come to the right place. For those with more simple tastes the continental and English breakfasts are to die for.

Come evening time, I highly recommend saving your taxi fares and eating in one of the three hotel restaurants. The a la carte food is on a par with any top London restaurant. Entertainment is low key. If you are coming here to rest you will find the beds are large and supremely comfortable. English speaking tv channels in the room are BBC and other news channels. A selection of DVDs are available from reception. A few minutes ride away you will find a some lively nightlife if you can drag yourself away from the relaxed peacefulness hotel for more than an hour.

I didn't use the spa (treatments were on average €100) but the hot bubbling indoor jacuzzi was very pleasant. This hotel would be ideal for couples ore for honeymooners.

Enough already! Can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: All rooms have a sea view. If you were not happy with the room the staff would do everything to find...

Just returned from a short getaway with my wife at the Thalassa. We where looking for some moments of relaxation and tranquility. Well that was just what we got at the Thalassa. Excellent room with views to coral bay, excellent service from friendly staff, excellent food at the hotel's restaurant and relaxing moments at the pool. We also enjoyed some spa treatments that were very good. The best part of the hotel is that although it was fully occupied it was still quiet and exlusive We will definitely return at the Thalassa but for a longer stay . . .

We spent 8 glorious days at the Thalassa - the staff are very friendly helpful and professional - this was our second stay here - will return again next year. It was great seeing Euan, Irene, Olga Alexis and Magdalena again. The food is top class!! The views from the room are magnificent.

Room Tip: we had a sunrise room with incredible views.

Just back from a fantastic week with my partner and friends. Everything about this hotel screams quality. Our room was excellent and spotless and our view was gorgeous. The food was top class and lunches at the beach bar were delightfully long!!!!!!!!! The hotel does not cater for children and that meant we were able to enjoy our cocktails at the pool in a heavenly silence. What puts the hotel above others I've stayed at is the STAFF!!!!!!!! Honestly i've never stayed anywhere with more professional staff ......from poolside staff to management they deserve top marks and thanks especially to George, Euan, Irene and Magdalena.Top hotel deserving top marks

Room Tip: Don't think there's a bad room

My wife and I were lucky enough to stay here for 7 nights recently.the suite we stayed in was impeccable with breath taking views.
The staff were sincerely attentive without being snobby or intrusive.the entire place shines and makes you feel like a million dollars every time you walk in or out the front door.
Special thanks to Ewan who booked our golf day to Aphrodite hills & George who kept us all suitably refreshed at the cocktail bar.

Just been back for a second time and just as impressed as our first visit. Nice relaxing top quality hotel with top quality facilities. One of the key things about this hotel is the friendliness of all the staff, including George, Euan, Alexis, Irene, Magdelena and Olga. This is not a hotel for those on a tight budget, however sometimes in life we should all enjoy a little luxury. We will most definitely be back.

Just returned from a weeks holiday here with my wife and friends. The facilities at the hotel are fantastic, the rooms stunning. What really blew me away was the service and friendliness of staff.I have stayed in some top hotels but this is by far the best when it comes to service. From the pool attendant, cleaners, room service, spa staff, bar staff, resturant staff and the reception, they could not have done any more for us.Made to feel so welcome. The qualityof food for breakfast lunch and dinner was also top drawer. If you want to spend that wee bit extra you will not be disappointed on your visit here.
If you can find something to complain about at this hotel you are looking for problems probably to try to save money!!!
Its an absolutely fantastic experience will definately be going back

Room Tip: If possible get a suite on the non pool side means you get to see sunset!!! Awesome
