My partner and I stayed at the Louis King Jason in November 2013, he had booked for my birthday and as a last holiday before our baby arrives in February, we had checked many hotels and read loads of reviews and kept coming back to this one.
On arrival at night we were given a warm welcome with complimentary juice, the check in process was fab and we were advised if hungry dinner was still on and to pop down once settled. Having read from previous reviews about Maria and Andreas we knew immediately who they were as they mingled amongst their guests and offered assistance and immediately welcomed us both. We had booked self catering as thought we would like to go out for dinners etc but after having had dinner than night and realising how excellent the food was we decided to just pay as we went, breakfasts were amazing with so much choice and dinners were the same, nothing was too much trouble and all of the staff were attentive and helpful.
The pool areas are fantastic, really clean and tidy, plenty of comfy sunbeds and lovely wee cabanas.
There was no entertainment which suited us as we were going for complete relaxation and it was also out of season so any pubs and restaurants round about were closed but the peace and quiet and friendly atmosphere was exactly what we needed.
At the time I was 26 weeks pregnant and I was fussed over and looked after and hopefully we will be returning with the baby once he arrives.
We stayed in the deluxe studios and were blown away with the high standard of finishing and comfort as I hadn't been sleeping great and for the whole week I had the best nights sleep in the gigantic bed, there were lovely wee touches in the room like some commanderia and my partner had asked for a birthday cake to be left in the room for us on arrival which was absolutely delicious.
I have never left a review good or bad but felt that the service, welcome and hospitality we received along with the food and hotel itself deserved a moment of my time, many thanks to Maria and Andreas and all their staff for everything.
