We returned from a weeks stay at the Elysium on 2nd July. My family, myself, husband and three children, 11, 20 and 24 years all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had a twin sea view room and a Cypriot Masionette for the children. The rooms were lovely (air conditioning rather noisly) very well furnished and a lovely bathroom. The Reception area and lounge areas are comfortably furnished with beautiful lighting and decor. The restaurants and food are of a very good standard, especially the breakfast. The staff are very efficient and friendly. The pool bar staff are excellent checking very regularly to see if anyone needs drinks as are the sunbed staff who will sort out sunbeds and lay your towels out for you. It is expensive, we paid 20 euros for every round of drinks and these were just soft drinks. We also were told that we would have to pay £100 for a late check out if we wanted to keep our room til 5pm due to our flight time, so we kept the room til 2pm at no extra charge and then filled the time up by having something to eat and relaxing in the lounge area. On the whole a lovely hotel, friendly efficient staff, 5star luxury!
