“Awful tat, avoid unless you love low quality car boot sales.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

The worst market I've ever been to.
If you are expecting local delights and crafts you will be sorely disappointed.
All British by the looks of things, rubbish from back home. More quality in your local Scope.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

Nice to see old friends at The Duck Pond Paphos last week especialy Neil who makes the best Bacon Butties anywhere, no wonder his restaurant Tommy Tuckers is doing so well.
You can usualy meet friends you've made on the forums (Paphos People in particular)

“Books galore at a fair price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2012

We visited the Duckpond not expecting much as you do. It was your typical British type market, things like UK sweets etc. The highlight for us was the bookstall / exchange, thousands of books, all around €3.00 and you could return them for 50% credit. We had already found books in Paphos to be very expensive, and we had 3 weeks holiday left, so we were very pleased. It wont be for everyone, it worked for us though.

“What pond? What ducks?”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2012

Yes, you guessed it! There is no pond and there are no ducks. But there is a market, of sorts. This is the kind of place you can find everything, or nothing. I personally found it too be a waste of time but there must be something I'm missing, judging by the numbers of ex-pats about, and of course, the British tourists. Buy an all-day ticket on the buses and make this one stop for an hour.
