We were lucky to find out from Cosmo Brides about the Azia and that it was rated one of best hotels in Cyprus for service, quality and wedding facilities. We had booked earlier at the Coral beach resort, but changed our booking. We are now so happy we did.

This was so much more special and romantic as a location and as a venue. Here are our honest opinions to the couples getting married and to the holiday makers on a romantic trip:

Do stay on after the wedding is over. It is worth having a few quiet days after all the family and friends disappear…you will be thanking me for this advise later!

Do put a few flowers on the table but not much…we got a lot of nice square vases for the tables, but really the Azia is overflowing with flowers in the gardens and if you choose a location near them, the tables have more colour that you would ever get.

Take from the UK your placement cards. The ones in pafos are very expensive and not much choice.

Use the advice of the wedding planner of the hotel before you arrive, but really have a good look while you are there as you will fall in love with the place you want to have your reception. The hotel does not mind some last minute changes a couple of days before the wedding.

Book a professional photographer. They are a little expensive but not even close to the Uk prices and really worth to have the memories beautifully presented for ever. The video we had done professionally was also nice but the photos were unbelievable. Take advantage of the AMAZING sunsets at the Azia gardens for unbelievable photos!!!!!

Spend some money on booze… good champagne at the hotel does not cost that much and will put all the guests in extra good mood. We used it the night before too and found it was a fantastic way to start the celebrations and get the families to mingle easily.


This was a really 5 star wedding worth all expense and time ! …and I have the photos to prove it!!!

We stayed there in august.I really cannOt fault this hotel. the kids club was fantastic, the girlsupervising there did a great job entertaining them and had making all sort of wonderful little things. Then the pool was wnderful for all of us with chidren's area. The staff super friendly and helpful. We used the spa only once. The spa is a little pricy but really, more thn worth the exprience as it was really top quality in everything. We tried the couple massage.the food was liked by all of us including the young on.SUPER STAY!!!!!

The rooms of the hotel are big, clean and fresh.

Will go back to the Azia and I trully recommended!

I have been a member of tripadvisor since August 2008 and only now, in october 2009 I found a hotel that impressed me enough to be motivated to write a review.I went to the Azia on business and ended up having a great holiday at the same time. I managed to have business meetings and time to relax. I used greatly the internet facilities at the hotel and the free wifi that other reviewers picked on as well.The hotel has really great facilities and areas, but it really is special because of the Spa and fantastic value for money. There are more luxurious five stars in the world but NOTHING close to this quality at this price!! The spacious lobby with the palmtrees is such a breath of fresh air, a fantastic place to sit on your computer and do some work although the staff showed me into an internet room with 5-6 computers when I needed it .

The pool is super clean and beautiful and the grounds around it perfect for detoxing from a fast pace of life. I did not even think to spend to be upgraded to a better room - I stayed in a basic one - as I thought I wanted to enjoy being outdoors anyway, or having my meetings in the lobby and a meeting room (I found that the hotel had a selection of meeting rooms including a small one with a round table and nice sea view , perfect for small meetings...and the staff are always ready to show you around to find what you want).

The hotel felt and looked very clean and tidy throughout. I tried the tennis court and the food and both were super.
It was really an excellent stay at a very nicely run hotel.
Will I go back? I think yes.... next time just for holiday!
