we got a flyer stuffed into the door handel of the hire car so we decided to have a drive one day to see what it was like. nice drive we had air-con!. when we got to the actual winery ( along a bit of a rough road off the main road) we went stright in and were shaken by the hand and directed down into the wine celler lol, it was about 15ftX10ft deep by 8ft high lol with id say 50/60 bottles in it lol, there is a door leading outside near to the entrance to the cellar ....... if you feel the need to disapear quick style lol. the gift shop wernt upto much and the museum only had a few artifacts in but worth a few pictures if you can climb on one of the large bulls/cows. they had a varanda looking over some hills? lol with tabels an chairs.............. no idea what for but hey its the theam i suppose. the wine tasting..... well he was doing 2 at a time, both at different stages so ill have to give him that........... just keep up with were you are in it all lol. some of the wine tasted a bit ............. well most of it did and the sparkling wine didnt sparkle. the good thing about it was the owner giving his patter........... sexy wine this, sexy wine that, good for newlyweds if you no what i mean lol, but although there is no pressure to buy? i feel you are obliged to after all that lol so we did after all it was the best laugh we had had all day lol. as for the prices.... well so-so, a bit much for type of wine but it was a day out so in the end was ok... just. OH while i remember the " NO label" bottled wine/port ( his own village wine...... thought they were all his village wines lol ) he has, one small one big. the big one aint that big ask for a look at it first if buying, apparently it tastes just like comanderia st, john desert wine!! lol .. sweet as sugar .
