Just arrived home from a week at The Annabelle. Agree totally with the reviews from those staying at the same time. We had a great time. On a previous stay in Cyprus we'd had a quick look around, and when we saw the offer from Mercury Direct, we went for it!
Sea view room, Comfy, and massive bed, neat little balcony. We were offered full board for cost of B&B, so were prepared to have breakfast and then a couple of meals at the hotel, the rest eating out, as we usually do. We ate out once! Yes food was Buffet style, but cooked and presented to the standard of resturant. The beef stifado was wonderful! and the vanilla custard - well!!!!
all the staff are professional and very friendly, always ready for a chat. the feel is they enjoy their jobs, and know they are good at it, rather than an attempt for tips.
George runs the Fontana buffet room efficiently and calmly, no fuss, everyone knows their jobs. Simeon's omlettes are worth the wait as he cooks it fresh for you.
The doorman (think it was Damitrus) humoured my daily attempts to great him in Greek!
Sun beds were great, so comfy I hardly moved! Yes there may be other hotels which are more up to date, and larger pools, but none with the elegance of the hotel, and the beautiful tiered gardens.
Only downside, would have expected a kettle in the room, included in the price, but to be honest we never got round to ordering one!
A wonderful, restful holiday were I felt like a valued guest.
Previous reviews mentioned building works next door. We were on the Adonis wing, on the side of the works, but facing into the gardens, and we never heard a thing. The loudest noise was the sound of the sea (and one night a cat fight!)

Had a wonderful time ,the deluxe room made a difference,doormen always made you welcome as did the reception staff always very helpful.
The meals were wonderful , very many choices at all times.we booked in March as we had enjoyed our stay in the Annabelle in Sept/October in 2012,we did however move up to the deluxe grade room,which was much better.
There is plenty to do in the area and the bus stop just outside hotel.Within walking distanc
e of the harbour.The use of the Almyra hotel for the film shows and other activities also.Would certainly reccomend this hotel to others.R and S Dudgeon

Just completed a fabulous 3 week holiday at the Annabelle. The Hotel met with more than our expectation, a warm welcome from the doormen each time we enterd the hotel, the professional but friendly helpful reception staff always had a smile. The Lobby bar staff were attentive without being intrusive. The meals were fantastic, well presented with quality and choice, thanks to the chefs and his staff. The dining room staff were always helpful, professional and always found time to converse. The rooms and facilities were top grade. Hotel has beautiful grounds, easy access to local amenities. So good that we have already booked a return 3 week holiday in November. Well done to all at the Annanbelle, Looking forward to our next visit. J and S Green

This is indeed a remarkable hotel. 5 Star from top to bottom. I should know. I'm here right now, writing this on my tablet. Sitting by one of the many pools. Cold beer in hand, wondering if I've died and gone to heaven! The staff treat you like royalty. The food is exceptional. Simply paradise! Nothing negative to say about the hotel or Paphos. Come on out.....you'll love it!
