“Family friendly and lovely food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013

Very nice meal, not the cheapest meal we had, but worth the little bit extra, very good with the children. When my 5 year old asked for baked beans not to be put on her food, they very kindly suggested serving the beans in a separate bowl, such a small thing but just very thoughtful, not made to feel like it was a ridiculous request.

“Superb.....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2013 via mobile

The food at this fantastic restaurant, is beautiful and cooked to perfection. We went there twice last week it was perfect on both evenings, ex-pats and locals all rave about it. Try it you won't be disappointed. Phytos and Zenon are great hosts too, and they really make you feel special.... The kleftico and roast potatoes are to die for, as for the creeps suzette is also spectacular..... Go on try it you will love it.

“Sunbow Restaurant 30th anniversary and still the local favourite!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2013

I first visited the Sunbow Restaurant back in 1989, having been advised by Cypriot friends that it was, quite simply, the best restaurant in Paphos! I have been a regular customer since then! Why? Quite simply because the food is excellent, flavoursome, attractively presented, generously portioned and reasonably priced. The menu wide and varied, with dishes ranging from traditional delicacies such as Kleftiko to speciality steaks through to Italian and Indian delicacies. The interior is attractively decorated, swirling murals depicting mythological scenes intersperced with photographic evidence of 'the old Cyprus' against a backdrop of warm wood tones and burnished low lighting. You couldn't hope for a warmer welcome then that given by joint owners Phytos and Zinonas, who take real pride in offering the best of Cypriot hospitality and cuisine in Sunbow-which remains so much more than just another fly by night 'tourist' eaterie- 30 years of popularity can't be wrong!

“Best food in Cyprus”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

I was shocked when I went to the Sunbow. It was absolutely the most amazing food I have had in Cyprus. It has been around for about 30 years, and I quickly figured out why. The traditional Cypriot cuisine is authentic and delectable. I ordered: One frappe (couldn't resist), a mixed appetizer which was mouthwatering fried Feta, rice wrapped grape leaves, haloumi cheese in pita, and some other wonderful sauces. I then got chicken with cauliflower and rice, with some crazy sauce on top. It was so unique. Lastly, I got Baklava with ice-cream and mint. It is a bit pricy, but if you're going to spend a little bit extra on one meal, I highly recommend this place. I know I will be coming back.
