“CHOOSE APARTMENT CAREFULLY”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013

WE STAYED IN B102 AND B107.
Firstly, the 2 stars are for the pool and location of Limnaria in respect to walking to the harbour and the beach which is excellent.
We stayed for 18 nights in the above apts and paid just under £2000 for the dis-pleasure.
Both apts are owned by the same bloke who describes them as "luxury". They are far from it!!
I'm not going to lambast the fella on here or state all the problems we had because i havn't got all day!!
DO NOT BOOK THESE APARTMENTS, TALK TO SOMEBODY WHO HAS STAYED AND ASK ADVICE.

We got into the apartment with out a problem and it was plenty big enough 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed (5 of us) it was well equipped with everything you would have at home. Being on the ground floor facing the pool was great as we didn't need to lug the loungers around.
The negatives were there were 4 sun loungers but 2 had seen better days ,2 hair dryers 1 didn't work and the other one gave out small electric shocks if you touched the metal on/off switch also the apartment was clean on first look but could have done with a deep clean.
We would definitely go back to this complex again

This is our second time at Limnaria Gardens. First of all, the pool is lovely and the location is great, you do need however to pick your apartment wisely. This year we booked through Paphos Holiday Rentals and the apartment is advertised as ref 147. It is a 2 bed, 2 bathroom apartment with 2 small balconies. The apartment is actually managed by Cosy Cove but we didnt meet anyone from either company during our stay. When we arrived we had to ring their out of office number to find out how we get in to the apartment which was via a key safe. The good bits were a well equipped kitchen and lots of storage. The not so good bits were the most uncomfortable double bed you are ever likely to sleep on and on closer inspection we could see that both of the middle supports holding up the matress were broken so it sagged in the middle which really affected our sleep. The children slept fine in their single beds however. All the beds would benefit from new bedding as the cover on the double bed was a synthetic empty duvet cover instead of a cotton sheet. I had emailed Paphos Holiday Rentals before we left to ask whether a welcome pack was included and I was told yes but on arrival all there was in the apartment was a can of condensed milk which is was really disapponting with two thirsty children after a long flight to not even have a bottle of water. The balcony as I have mentioned is small and in the middle of the two balconies there is a patch of soil which is used by the local cats as a bathroom. We were also disappointed to have a notice when we arrived about using the electricity sparingly and a request to have the AC set at 25 Degrees which was in our opinion a little high so we found ourselved watching the electricity meter constantly as any additional electricty cards we may need would have to be funded ourselves. The AC unit in the main living room barely worked although the bedroom ones we ok if not a little noisy. Last year we rented the penthouse apartment in Block B and I would rate that as a 5, not only for its facilities but also the fact that we were shown around the property when we arrived and shown how all the hot water and AC worked but also we had a lovely welcome pack included for free. Last year we used Mike Beer for the rental and I have seen some other reviews recommending him too although I can't remember the name of the company he operates as.

Block B 102,103 and 107. We and the rest of the family stayed at Limnaria Gardens in July 2013. The apartments were excellent, well furnished with all equipment required. They were very clean and well kept and the balconys were BIG and overlooking the pool. 102 and 103 has both a bathroom and w/c as well as an en suite. 10 minutes walk from the harbour and less to the nearest retaurants. Will definitely go back.

Room Tip: Rooms are facing the pool.

Stayed at block D apartment 005. This apartment was run down, filthy, lack of basic facilities and cleanliness. This was the worst holiday i have ever had. We could only use half the kitchen due to filth and dampness. We had cockroaches throughout the apartment for 2 weeks, which was terrible. We got the maintenance company in, who put a chemical down to kill them which worked for a short period. My husband had to put it down again the second week. Every time we went out and came back in my husband had to go in first and check for cockroaches before we could go into the apartment. We had to wash all dishes and cutlery before we could use them. Wok was burnt on the bottom, pots had no teflon on them. I could go on but i wont all i will say is dont book this apartment.

We stayed at Liminaria Apartments in Paphos block E 205.Have not review this apartment earlier as the owner has only just return my deposit after 83 days which should have been returned within 30 days.Liminaria gardens is a lovely site with nice pool area,& not far to the centre of Paphos which was walkable or there was a bus stop at the bottom of the road.We got the bus from the airport which is just outside the main building at the cost of 1 Euro, and stops at many stops along the main road in PaphosThe apartment looked ok on arrival. But the microwave was filthy not been washed out, work tops had crumbs all over. Did not do any cooking as the pans were in a disgusting state. There were odd bit of food left in the cupboards, & lots of old plastic bags. The bed was very lumpy & creaked every time one of us moved and had no mattress protector on .Same with the settees very uncomfortable & shabby. The bathroom sink was grimy one of the towels had a whole in it. There was suppose to be DVDs & games in the apartment but there was no DVDs in sight & the game were old & all stuck together there were also old magazines scattered around in all the draws. The TV had only a couple of english channels which were news channels free view box did'nt work. The sun beds were still on the balcony all other apartments had them down at the pool. Would not recommend this apartment to anyone

  • Liked — Limnaria area close to centre of Pahos
  • Disliked — The kitchen & bed

We were in a ground floor apartment in 2012 and decided to go for a bigger maisonettes for 2013. We weren't disappointed. Great place to stay and central for everything - I thoroughly recommend these apartments. We booked through a chap called Mike Beer and he couldn't do enough for us. Lovely bloke.
