Well what a great hotel, defo going back we loved it!!
Had a great room by the pool and great at night just relaxing on the terrace and could see the entertaiment..Ants was a problem but it didnt stop us enjoying the holiday as the cleaners came to sort them.
Apartments are very spacious and clean.
The restaraunt was very clean and a good mix of food, kids menu could be changed abit more as my son lived off fish fingers for 7 days (thought he was going to turn in to a fish)
The staff there was so nice Stavros made sure you was well looked after.
Entertaiment ok made you laugh some things.

I just felt a week wasnt long enough we are defo going back next year!!

Room Tip: room 62 is the best

Arrived at 4p.m on 20 Sep 2011.
Reception was excellent, Directions to room clear. Easy to find your way around as the rooms are in blocks of 8 and majoriy are around pool. Pool area is lovely clean and the pool is warm ad welcoming. Our room was in block 5. Very basic not 4 star no little touches of luxury. Threadbare bath towels, not bath sheets. Was clean though and housekeeping was good. No tea/coffee in rooms, so take your own or as we did take from restaurant at breakfast.

Also there wa no pool towels, we had to buy 2 towels from shops. So again take your own.
Went to the pool about 10a.m and always plenty of beds.

Restaurant was very clean, all staff very friendly. Food was abit hit and miss. But always found something to eat.

Entertainment was okay. We really enjoyed the Blues brothers nite, casino night and we love kareoke so that was fun for us, dont know about the other guests though.

Beach very rocky not really a holiday beach. Didnt feel the need to go to beach after initial visit.
Lots of rubbish on beach. They could do more with this.

Overall was okay, we only went for sunbathing so was adequate for that.

Room Tip: As other guests have said go for top floor. Got a few ants and 1 centipede. But didnt really bother...

We travelled with Thomson travel who sent us to the wrong hotel. We'd been sent to the pafian sun village (also owned by pafian park) and was told there was no room booked for us. The manager couldn't have been more helpful, he contacted pafian park and arranged a free taxi for us and offered us a drink while waiting on the taxi.

When we arrived at pafian park holiday village we were delighted to be met by such friendly receptionists. They gave us all the instructions for our room, air con etc and told us where the bar, pool etc was.

The pool was absoloutely stunning and always well kept. The room was perfect and had good air conditioning. The only slight problem we had was with ants, on the balcony and in the bedroom - woke up one morning with 3 ants on my pillow :O You can buy ant killer from the shop on site so had no further issues.

The bar staff were a bit miserable but the restuarant staff were amazing - very efficient and stavros the restuarant manager was always on hand to offer you drinks and ensure you had enough food. The food was good, loved it the first few nights but after that it became a bit same old same old! You could tell food had been recycled from the night before but it was always well presented and plenty of choice. The salad bar was great with lots of fresh local grub!

The evening entertainment was amazing and the staff worked so hard to always give a good and varied show every night.

We'd read about people booking sunbeds by the pool with towels so you couldn't get a bed so we just joined them and got up early to book ours too so was never an issue (if you can't beat em, join em). The staff are meant to remove towels but never do so your best to go down around 8.30 and book your sun lounger if you want a decent spot.

We went as a couple (age between 31-35) but the place is perfect for either couples or families, lots for the kids to do as there is entertainment in the evenings and games (volley ball etc) all throughout the day if you want to join in.

The beach is a 5 minute walk away alhough we never went as there was plenty on at the resort.

The weather was amazing, hot every day so you definately require air con in the rooms. Its free with Thomson travel but believe if you are with Thomas cook you have to pay a daily rate which could be expensive.

My hair straightners blew up when i plugged them into the socket, but called the handy man to put the electricity back on and he was great, took my straighteners away and replaced the fuse in the plug!

Towards the end of the stay we had really noisy neighbours in the apartment above and had to report them to reception a few times. Reception didn't do much apart from send the handy man round to ask them to turn down their music but one of the other residents hammered their door one morning when music was blaring at 4am.

On leaving, the staff allow you to keep your all inclusive bands on your wrist until you actually leave the hotel so even if your transfer isn't till 5pm you can still have full use of the food hall and bar up until you leave which was great.

The staff were so personal and stavros the restaurant manager even stopped his car when we were leaving to wish us a safe journey home.

Ignore the negative reviews, people will always find something to moan about and i can honestly say we'll definately be going back as had a fantastic time! :)

Room Tip: We were in block 2 and it was perfect! Far enough away reception to avoid noise of people coming and...

Arrival- me and my partner arrived at the hotel round about midnight, check in was quick, we were given a map and had to find our apartment on our own. We were quite close to the stage and pool so didn't take long.

First day- we were woken up at around 6.30 with the song " girls just want to have fun" by cyndi Luper, didn't bother me thinking that they had put on a cd and that holidays are not for long lies, but by the time the same song was still on half an hour later really got on my nerves. By the time 8.00 came it felt unbearable. Why did they feel the need for a song never mind an annoying song to be played for an hour and a half, I don't know, 8 hours in to our holiday it felt like torture.

Pool- the pool and the pathway to the sea was lovely. Pool was warm and loungers were not that hard to come by. Most people had the same spot everyday by the pool. The only downfall was that you couldn't just relax in the pool u kept having to look over your shoulder for young children jumping about all of the time.

Bar/restaurant - the bar service was good hardly ever a long que they worked hard and long hours. Only downfall was that they didn't listen to you when you requested your drink of choice. Each time we would ask for no ice in our drinks and 9 times out of 10 there would be ice in our drinks and one time one of the bar men said woops to late handed me our drinks. I was not happy at all with this and requested for the right drink I wanted. I know it sounds silly but every time you go for a drink ands it is wrong it really starts to annoy by the third day and night. One time I asked clearly for a sex on the beach with no ice and a vodka and coke with no ice, and I received a sex on the beach with ice and a coffee!
The restaurant was nice staff worked hard but a few times we would go up to get something to eat and our table would be cleared of our drinks and other people ready to sit down thinking that we had finished, this happened several times. The food was themed each night for example Chinese and Italian, these themes were repeated every week. Most night consisted of chicken rice and potatoes. deserts, ice cream and also the fresh fruit was lovely and fresh.

Entertainment- we found the entertainment really repetitive. Every night there would a childrens disco then bingo and then your entertainment for the night. Most nights con sited of quizzes which were not well organized and veryyyy boring. One night they had karaoke then it was cancelled so therefore it was a quiz to see what song would win to see how many people would go up and dance this was finished quickly as no one wanted to be the entertainment but be entertained. Another night I was looking forward to the entertainment, it was a blues brothers and dirty dancing night. Most people went for dinner early and wer sitting( at the limited amount of chairs) waiting for the show to begin. Usually after the kids entertainment and bingo around half nine the real entertainment would start. At 20 to ten one of the staff came out and said they were leaving because the bingo ran 5 mins later. We all thought that it was a joke, and then the entertainment came out with microphones and there suitcases and left. Yet again we were left to do quizzes ( the 5th night in a row).

The animation entertainment staff were ok, by the third day it got really annoying with them shouting walking around the pool for you 2 play games when all you wanted to do is lie by the pool and relax. Most of the time they were annoying and at nighttime elf that they looked down at you just because we didn't have kids with us.

Other holiday makers- most of the other holiday makers were very arrogant. Once I was being friendly and tried talking to someone while waiting in the que at the bar they gave me a one word answer and turned there back on me. Another time we tried helping a young couple up the stairs with a pram and yet again were very arrogant. We felt like cause we did not have kids with us that we were looked down on and didn't belong there.
There were a lot of kids at this hotel most would be walking about crying the whole day and the whole night, if it wasn't music that was waking you up it would be a spoiled brat screaming.

receptionist staff- the majority of the receptionist were nice, but once when we had to use the pay phones at the reception it wasn't working and was accepting our money but not making the calls. We asked the receptionist who was arrogant and English how you used the phones, she sneered and said sarcastically em you put money in it laughed and walked away. When asking for help and receiving this attitude from her I was livid!

Cleaning maids- the maids at the hotel when meeting them were the friendliest there. Our sheets and towels were nit changed everyday, one time we came up to our room and she had moved our suitcases and moved our clothes and shoes which were not in her way and there was no need for her to move our things about. We made sure that our room was safe and that the door and veranda doors were closed and locked. We could see from the pool that the maid was in our room cleaning the balcony. When we went back to our room our veranda doors had not be locked!
Overall the hotel was nice, clean enough food was ok, staff could be a bit better.

Returned home 26th september 2011. Had a brilliant time on holiday and could not thank everyone at the hotel enough. The staff were great and so friendly. Our room was very clean and tidy all the time. The restaurant and bar staff were always there when you needed something. the batteries ran out on our safe so notified reception. Maintenance were at the room within 5mins. We did speak to a few people who were messed around a little with their rooms, due to the hotel being overbooked. If you are wanting to hire a car make sure you take a credit card with you. Animation staff were so good at their jobs. Entertainment may not have been fantastic, but if I wanted a holiday for entertainment I would go to London's West End! Went to the pool at 9.30-10am every morning and always got a lounger in the sun all day!!! Would defo return :) Thank you all at the Pafian Park

Room Tip: Higher floors may be less likely to get as many creepy crawlies. Also request a sea view and a pool...

Hi Folks Just back from staying 2 weeks in the Pafian Park which in general was a Fab Hotel the service and food were fantastic. the staff couldn't do enough for you. The only things that annoyed me were we were all inclusive and to me that means all inclusive, I asked for a Milk Shake and was told i would have to pay 2.50 Euro on priciple I refused and asked for a fresh orange and was told it was not real fresh orange and I understood what he meant when I tasted it, it was just like fanta without the fizz. The Apartment was ok not 4 star quality and the towels were just a tiny bit bigger than hand towels and were very thin and grey looking. The change of Linen was good but again the Sheets were threadbare and grey looking. On the whole we enjoyed our stay there but these little things that annoyed me could easily be fixed and I hope will be
