The food at the restaurant "Thalassa" was perfect! Especially pancakes with carob syrop! They have a wide choise of food and it's very tasty!I recommed it!
The hotelrooms were very clean, but one time housekeeping forgot to wash the floor...
They have a lot of chaise-longues!Woderful!
We have a lot of problems with Internet. There is free Wi-Fi at the Lobby (very slow) and at the rooms we have Internet by cable (very-very slow).But it was complimentary.
It was a first hotel where the hotelstaff proposed us to buy an adapter at their shop! Usually it's free of charge...It's not a high price, but it's so uncomfortably!
In total this hotel is't bad!

Room Tip: Take the top floors! The view is wonderful!

We were booked in to the Atlantica oasis but were transferred to the Miramare expecting a platinum hotel to be a step up.However I agree with the previous reporters the food was average,usually only luke warm and limited choice.The new years eve gala buffet is certainly something to avoid.No welcome drinks virtually the same dinner as any other night,far too many people in the dining room.The tables were in rows packed together with very little room between them.Our row had to go and get the food en masse as we were unable to get past the end of the row guest due to a pillar.A very uncomfortable experie nce,quite the worst new year we have had in over 20 years.The all inclusive offered snacks etc during the day but were never seen and appeared to be available on demand.Lots of extras seemed to be available for Thomson clients only.Staff were excellent,views fantastic,hotel clean

We stayed over Christmas.
I am very pleased I was unable to book this through Thomson's as a platinum hotel. It does not compare to any of the other four our family have stayed at.
We booked two rooms, one a twin one a double on the same booking, we were on different floors at opposite ends of the hotel. The twin room was a double with an uncomfortable sofa bed in the room. The staff resisted moving us closer together.
Our room had a safe which we had to pay for, I have never had to pay for a safe before.
Our toilet had a leak soaking the floor, took 3 attempts with mastic to patch the holes. A do not disturb sign did not stop the maintenance man coming in anyway.
The dining room was used for a Christmas eve gala dinner on one occasion, the only difference on a normal evening meal, crammed to the gunwales with very little space to move around, the described food ran out quickly duchess potatoes replaced with mash. The mediocre disinterested hotel musicians played during the meal to be supported by a dancing troupe.
The general evening entertainment was reasonable, the bar area was packed out very quickly so only got to see one evenings entertainment.
The outdoor tennis court was dangerous, the areas around the playing area was very slippery, My son having a bad fall on it. Despite raising this problem the owners of the spa continued to allow its use. The indoor pool was a good size,
The food was adequate, the salad options were very good, the selection and variety of food for the evening meal was average. The desserts looked quite nice but were never labelled, I selected the ice creams every night.
The wine list was not updated and i had to make several choices before a wine to my taste was available. Apparently this was because of Christmas!
The buffet every night became very samey very quickly.
The corridors to the rooms were looking tired with plaster flaking off the walls.

my husband and i stayed here for a week in december 2012
good points: very clean hotel,majority of staff very friendly especially mica in dining room (lovely legs!) ,alex bar staff and all reception staff very helpful.food was very good but not enough selection.
all inclusive a must drinks are very expensive .we would probably have enjoyed this hotel much better in the summer as outside facilities closed for winter.
bad points:bathroom very small.couldnt get any sleep due to cleaners talking very loud and shouting to each other along the corridors,slamming doors and moving furniture across the floors,this was all morning and most of the afternoon even though we had do not disturb on the door , also people forever knocking on the door eg mini bar,clean towels,tea and coffee,maintenance,security 8pm one night.in the dining room even though the staff are very pleasant and efficient you feel as though you are on show when it is quiet all the staff are lined up watching you eat it makes you feel very uncomfortable.the bar area was more like a rest home people falling asleep mid afternoon,night entertainment was very poor but as stated it was winter time,the seating in this area is very low problems getting up from the seats even at our age.one of the barstaff behind the bar is very unfriendly if you are not a paying customer,the guys serving the drinks are all great.limassol is a very run down area there are a few pubs around but not at all busy at this time of year.the most annoying thing about this hotel is that nobody not even the rep at the welcome meeting tells you that if you are all inclusive you can get snacks eg cheeseburgers,pizza,chips etc from 3pm until 6pm at the asteria bar, there was nothing in the hotel information in the room,nothing around the hotel stating this apparantly there is a menu kept behind the bar that you need to ask for but if you dont know about it you wont ask this is just in the winter summer time snacks are outside.during our stay we hired a car, unfortunately we couldnt park in the hotel car park for 2 days due to a christmas fair taking place there .

My husband and I spent a long weekend at the hotel on December 7th.My overall experience is very possitive.Big room with balcony facing the endless sea.Breakfast was rich with many varieties.The whole atmosphere was festive and the hotel was decorated with lots of christmas ornaments.My only reservation was the lack of a printer connected to the hotel's computer, and the reluctance oh the hotel's staff to help me print my boarding pass.I had to search every neighborhood in Lisassol for an internet cafe'.Other than that we enjoyed our stay and we'll probably return.

My wife and I stayed for a week in November and were very impressed. The room was nicely furnished with plenty of storage space and tea and coffee making facilities replenished every day. The food in the self service dining room was excellent and the dining room staff friendly and efficient. One evening we were treated to a 5 course meal with wine by hotel management in the Red Room which is the formal waiter service dining room which normally has additional charges. The lounge and bar areas are very comfortable. We were fortunate to have mostly sunny weather and enjoyed the outside facilities of the hotel which overlooks a small beach to the sea. The Spa next to the hotel has a fantastic indoor swimming pool that hotel guests can use free. The hotel management also provided a free back massage at the Spa. There was entertainment every night in the bar area which was very enjoyable. Drinks were expensive but that was to be expected in a hotel of this standard. The resort itself was a bit tired and run down but that could be due to being in the off season but to be fair we did speak to some people who were quite happy with the resort. The Old Town is worth a visit on the local bus where all trips are 1 Euro.

From beginning to end this holiday was excellent. The hotel and it's facilities are great - lovely rooms, absolutely excellent spa and gym, but it's the way the hotel is run and the staff that made the holiday so great. If you get a chance definately see Paul Thomas' show, he is very funny and eat in the 'red' restaurant, you will be truly spoilt. Everything has been thought of and nothing is too much trouble at the Miramare, even down to being given a packed lunch for the journey home. We will definately be back next year.
