“Disappointed with Jasmine”

Jasmine Hotel and Apartments

This hotel is situated on the edge of a busy main road in Limassol so if you are unlucky enough to get a front room, it is doubtful that you will sleep.

Hotel under renovations at the moment - therefore more noise.

Main reception area is coming on nicely however the rooms are a different story. Too small & basic. Many of the appliances didnt work. In fact we demanded to change our room after our first night there as my father was forced to sleep on the ground. Aparently the sofa beds were removed to be re-upholstered but nothing was put in their place. Balconies were so small that table & chairs had to be removed before anybody could stand on them.

Pool very deep for young children. However bar staff were very nice & gardens were quite pretty.

In my opinion, this hotel is too far from the nicest part of Limassol town (Old Town). It is approx 40-50 minute walk there & same again back. The tourist area in my view was nothing to be desired.

Wouldnt return to this hotel again. Perhaps in a couple of months, after renovation work has been completed & with a bit of modernisation, it could be suitable for tourists.

We had read many reviews of the Hotel and were a little worried as to what we would find but we were pleasantly surprise. The hotel room was clean and tidy. The pool area was large and clean. The staff were all very friendly. The hotel is next to a very busy road which is very noisey but after a few nights and some ouzo it did not bother us. Found some lovely restaurants and friendly locals. On the whole it was a very nice holiday.

Oh my god i was so looking forward to my new year break but what a disappointment it was, i stayed at the Jasmine Hotel Apt in limassol and it is what you call DISGUSTING,i never stayed anyway as bad there were ants all over the place and grease on the kitchen walls ,the bed clothes were that grey from dirt it was terrible. The staff were unhelpful except for chris the english night porter, and the 24hr shop was never open in the whole time i was there, this is a place for older people that do not want a nite life and no kids ,Please be advised

We stayed at the jasmine for 2 weeks in July with our 14 year old son. We booked direct "bookcyprus.com" It was very cheap approx £340 for 2 weeks one bed apartment. The reception staff were not friendly on the whole but the pool bar man really nice and friendly. The apartment was a good size and overlooked pool, it wasn't particularly clean and quite tired. The sofa bed was very rickety and our son used the matress from it to sleep on the floor. The toaster didn't work and was never replaced when we complained. The maids didn't do a very good job when they came. The bar football table didnt work but had no sign to tell you that so you had to go and hassle the reception staff for your money back and they told you it was broken but still no sign day after. The pool area and gardens were really nice and you could always get a sun bed. The hotel is in a good central area. For what we paid it was well worth it but I wouldn't like to have paid full price in a brochure. I didnt like Limassol much but if I were to go back I would go back to the Jasmine purely because it is worth it for the price.

I stayed at the jasime with my husband for a week ,on arrival we were given a room on zero floor No 9 which was quite small, a room on the corner of the building and the sun beating in from all sides it had no balcony and the windows only opened an inch or so.we asked nicely if we could be moved, in just twenty minutes we had a lovely room on the ground floor with patio doors leading onto our own little garden.

Just a couple of minutes walk up there is papa,s supermarket and bakery prices are not bad, we enjoyed the Cutty Sark a few doors down.also the woodman and the sun and surf.

we took a local bus from limmasol castle it leaves at 9-30 in the morning and leaves again at 4-30 in the afternoon to the toodos, mountain. fo five pounds each return, much cheaper than tour buse,s.
