booked the atlantic oasis self catering 10 days before departure on the first choice web site at a great price with day flights.
waited 1hour for our cases at paphos airport but had transfers in a mini bus to hotel with only one drop off before us so it took approx 1hour 15 mins for airport .
when we arrived we were checke in and given our keys for the apartment and given instructions how to find it boy did we get a shock it was suppose to be 4 * . my sons age 14 & 15 said l am not sleeping here it was clean but was no more than a 2 * the corridors in the block even had dirty old mats at the door . the doors inside needed painting the tv aerial did not work. l went back to reception and said l was not stopping in there. l asked if we could pay to move into the hotel but was told the hotel was full due to a conference . l went to see the first choice rep matt he told me the same but said he would check if and when it would be possible . he arranged for us on saturday lunch to move into the hotel so we had 3 nights in the apts . we upgraded to half board and were given a fantastic suite for the four of us with a large bedroom and li ving room with fridge ,kettle , large tv ,sofa,s 2, coffee tables and a large dinning size table. all furnished in matching fabric . these rooms have been refurbished recently and were at the front of the hotel with a sea view there were only 5 rooms on each floor of this block . it was like another world to the apartment block. matt the rep had come up trumps this room was fab the balcony was large with 2 patio doors table and chairs. this move saved the holiday l could not have spent 14 days in those horrible apartments. thankyou matt what a great rep sorted things out quickly with no problems.

We have just returned from a week at the Atlantica Oasis. On arrival we were advised we would be staying in the Altantica Gardens across the road. I refused to do so as I had previously read peoples reviews and saw horrid photos! The receptionist explained that you have to be at least bed and breakfast to stay in the Altantic Oasis which I felt was not made clear at all when booking, otherwise I wouldn't have booked. I spoke to the Thomson rep as I was quite upset that we had paid to stay in a 4* and was being shipped across to a very gloomy 2*. The Thomson rep was very helpful and managed to get us a room in the main hotel however we had to upgrade to at least bed and breakfast which is 6euros per person so it dented our spending by 84euros. Slightly annoying as you could get a full fry up at the Nags Head Pub across the the road for 1/2 the price.
As explained in previous reviews the hotel has not been completely refurbished. The main areas have, however the bedroom photo in the holiday brochure is very misleading. Only 2 floors of 1 block have those bedrooms, the rest are very basic and the bathroom was a little stale as there was no ventilation for the damp.
Overall the holiday was great, hotel is in a great location, make sure you get down The Nags Head Pub you will love it. The pool was fab and what we had for breakfast at the hotel was very nice and there was a large selection to choose from. Also it may be worth enquiring if you are going half board or all inclusive how much the hotel charge you as I believe you get a much better rate if you upgrade once you are there.
Overall the hotel was fine however at this stage in it's refurb it's in my opinion a 3*

Just got back from a 2 week all inclusive holiday, we was lucky to stay in one of the new refurbished rooms, could not fault it, was cleaned every day apart from Sundays as it was there day off.

We was first half board but upgraded to all inclusive as it worked out alot cheaper for us. The food was excellent, so much choice to choose from.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The entertainment staff was really good too.

The only thing I can complain about is the beds around the pool, you have to get up at 6am to get a bed cos if you dont then there all taking. The first day we didn't know so we went down to the pool around 9 am and ALL the beds were gone.

Other then that the hotel was really nice and I will def go back

The main reception area has been refurbished but the room we stayed in was awful. There was no hot water pressure for the shower and no hot water in a morning. The bath/shower taps were filthy and covered in thick lime scale. The toilet flush handle was also filthy and covered in thick lime scale. The bathroom floor was dirty with thick black dirt in the corners. We were lucky to have our room serviced at all - and then only got two towels - one hand and one bath - for two people.
At one point we had to buy our own toilet rolls.

The room was not at all clean and really needed refurbishing. Hotel reception staff were not interested and simply said our complaints would be passed to the House Keeper.

Parts of the poolside area would be cleaned with detergent by staff in the evening but we were alarmed the see the whole lot simply rinsed away into the pool.

All I can say is - if you are thinking of staying at this hotel - DONT
