We stay in this hotel for one week. We were in villa which is situated in the great garden surrounding the main building of the hotel. The room was clean, but not very luxury decorated.
There is a beutifull swimming pool which we really loved.

We visited this Hotel with our friends who flew from the States to join us there. Hotel was a little dated, needed some tlc! Staff were very attentive, rooms OK, have had nicer rooms in similar Hotels. We were there in April 2012 and most of the inhouse restaurants were closed so very limited choice. Had to venture into Limasol for other restaurants which weren't very nice. Weather a little cold and pool was freezing. Cats everywhere, which the children loved! We had a nice time but would have liked it more if the facilities were open for us as it was very limiting.Probally would reccomend it for later in the season.

Please don't believe all you read in earlier reviews! My partner and I stayed for a week in February in one of the villas within the grounds of this hotel, so although I can't comment on the rooms, I certainly can comment on what a wonderful resort this is, even out of season.
Yes it's a little way out of Limassol but there's no need to hire a car as the bus leaves from the main entrance and runs every 20 minutes until about 1030pm. The journey into the centre of Limassol takes about 25 minutes - maybe 5 minutes longer than a car trip - and costs one euro for the whole journey! That's cheaper than the petrol and parking.
There's plenty to do on site anyway, even in winter. The indoor pool is open all day until 7pm, the spa (offering a huge range of treatments in 34 treatment rooms) likewise, there are shops within the hotel and even out of season you have a choice of two restaurants and a bar menu ranging from pastries to pasta dishes. We tried all dining options and only ate out twice in seven days but still didn't get bored. The menu in the formal restaurant changes daily and the less formal poolside restaurant had a hot buffet/carvery one night and more formal menu the next. We didn't try the Japanese restaurant but that's another option. If you do want to eat out but don't want to take the car or bus, there are other choices within a 15 minute stroll, including one rather lovely beach cafe offering a great menu until 11pm every evening. A superb little supermarket and wonderful bakery is likewise only a few minutes away on foot, two mins by car. There's also a play area for children (not something I tried out!), tennis courts, lawns with abundant sun loungers if the weather is good (as it was for us) and of course the beach.
Breakfast was by far the best we have encountered in any hotel anywhere. The range and quality was top class (why can't I buy bacon of that tenderness and flavour in the UK?) and the cold buffet, fruit, yogurts and pastries were wonderful. There's even a chef preparing fresh omlettes if you prefer!
Every single member of staff we encountered made us feel so welcome. Ok it was quiet in late February but they took the time to get to know us and treated us as friends, not just room numbers. That applied in all departments, but especially the bar and restaurants. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we really can't speak highly enough of the team throughout the hotel.
This really is a place in a million and well worth the five star status. We'll certainly be back.

I have stayed at Le Meridien at least once a year for the past 8 years, and i have never been let down, even in the 'off-peak' season. There is so much variety that you don't feel that you need to leave the resort (pools/restaurant variety/spa). The service is always excellent by all members of staff, and a special thanks to the Front Office Manager (Charalambos Lardas) for that 'extra' personalised service.
