“Fantastic Hotel and the Best Spa ever!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2008

I have just returned from the most relaxing weeks holiday, Le meridien Limassol Spa & Resort, was everything and more than what I expected, I knew the hotel was going to be good, 5 star well known Intenational Hotel Brand, how could it not be, as we all know this is not always the case, however this hotel is Fantastic, I can honestly say for the whole weeks stay, I had not one issue to raise, Breakfast in the Restaurant, Buffet style is fab, short order cook made eggs to order, waiting staff superb, pool furniture of good standard and plenty of beds for all,
the grounds are so spacious, I think even in the summer there would be enough space for all.
If you are going as a couple I would reccomend staying in the Royal Spa Wing. Rooms are decorated to a high standard and rooms have great views, there is also an adult only pool where you can relax.
To sum up I would go back to this Hotel, Food Excellant, Rooms Spacious all in all a wonderful Holiday Resort and most importantly Excellant customer Service,
Go to the Resort and Enjoy yourselves,

I stayed in Le Meridain from 11-25 of feb 2008 with my 3 year old son and my husband to be, and was married in there on site church on the 14th. The service was brilliant, the food mouth wateringly delicious and the attention to detail was fab. The weather although not great the first week did not spoil our holiday but weather in second week was lovely. The facilities in the hotel were second to none with a choice of restaurants, bars lovely gym and a variety of heated swimming pools both indoor and out. The spa in the hotel was so relaxing and a must for all visitors. Also there is a lot for the family to do witht the penguin village for the younger ones, with archery, bowling, football and mini golf to pass a few hours to name but a few activities on offer in the sports arena. Le Meridian is a fantastic hotel. Big thumbs up.

February is not the best time to visit Cyprus if you require sun/warmth. Hotel therefore crucial to compensate. Room was good (with sea view) Food was OK and spa was excellent, if expensive. All staff very pleasant and helpful. Overall good value for money.

Minus points-Long way out from Limassol. Wild cats everywhere in grounds with accompanying smell & mess. In winter not a great choice of restaurants or bars as most closed.

First time we had ever decided on a resort hotel with the intention of relaxation. Despite being out of season, there was plenty to do. A programme of events available for the week ahead including the opportunity to meet the hotel Management team who were genuinely interested to understand guest experiences.

Range of dining options excellent, could not fault the food. Different cuisines each night in one of the restaurants. Service was excellent, attentive but inobtrusive, friendly but not overbearing.

Room well appointed, bed comfortable.

Excellent value for money excellent..bearing in mind this is a five star location. We'll definitely be returning.

Hi all

Myself and my boyfriend stayed in this holiday in November and its was out of this world so much so were still talking about it and 8 of us travelling back there next year. The amenties in the hotel are fantastic.

Wth 4 tennis courts a football pitch ( to which the guy that runs leasure land orginised a 5 a side footie match esp for him as he enquired) multi purpose court, crazy golf, air hockey tables pool tables, table tennis, push bikes,to use all of these are FREE!!Bowling you had to pay for but with happy hour you get free bowling and half price drinks. For families also they have p. village for small kids with a creche fully quilified staff that even take babies, pool you can org swimming lessons for your smallies at a charge.you can get babe sitters for as long as you like at a charge.

We stayed in the Royal Spa wing, the rooms are like nothing ive stayed in before. The beds are so big you'd be lost in it.Fresh fruit, bottled water and ice were delivered to the room each morning. All bathroom products in the bathroom e.g shampoo etc were from the award winning spa (Elemis Products) from bathrobes to kneedle and thread you couldnt ask for more.Everything you can think of has been thought of for you.

heated pool with slide in the winter, beautiful view, staff are ever so nice.

Food was lovely,Plenty resturants to choose from in the summer, limited in the winter.Amber bar is beautiful.

In my opinion this hotel is well worth a visit. So much so even Damien Marley,Kim Marsh,Danny baldwin for Corrie (cant think of his real name) have all stayed there so if its good enough for them what else can i say!!!

Im leaving out so much cause id be here for the day typing what the hotel has,but im sure you all get the hint.

10 /10

WELL DONE LE MEIRIDEN AND STAFF FOR A HOLIDAY ILL NEVER FORGET!!

We stayed here across New year 2007/8. We booked one of the garden suites and were quite impressed with the rooms. There were two discreet bedrooms upstairs with a small bathroom (with bath) and downstairs a large living room/ dining room with another bathroom (with shower). The furniture was quite modern and there was a small patio outside. The big problem we had was that we arrived late at night and were obviously given the last suite available (even though we had booked it months in advance) - the one close to the front gate and next to the taxi room and car park. So instead of a garden view we got a car park view - and at 1am in the morning the taxi driver were scraping chairs over the floor, which we could hear in the bedroom.

The breakfast buffet was very good, although pretty crowded, with a very wide choice of food. We ate in the only "posh" restaurant "the Nautile" once - it was reasonable food, a bit overpriced and did not cater for children and the service was a little too "overpowering". This is where we hit another problem with this hotel, on the website they have lots of restaurants - BUT for winter they have only three open, the buffet one (where you have breakfast and which serves the room service menu on several days even though it is meant to have buffet each day), the nautile (see above) and a japanese (not good for kids really). So we were down to NO choices for food after the first days. (we had a car so we ate out which was fine and there are several nice restaurants within a 10minute walk of the hotel).

The facilitys were very good. They have many swimming pools, a couple of the outdoor were closed but the big one outside and the kids pool were heated and open. The indoor pool was also nice but did get a little crowded at times. There are also play parks for kids, kids club, ten pin bowling (go for the 3pm session that is free for families, because otherwise we paid 25Euros for one game for 4 of us), tennis courts, basket ball pitch, crazy golf (free), table tennis (free), pool (pay) and five as side pitch.

The beach also looked nice but it was a bit cold for us to use. The spa also looked nice but the prices were extremely high, with the cheapest 30minute massage being $60 and the prices went upwards from there.

So overall, nice hotel, good facilitys for kids, poor selection of restaurants during winter, and overall a bit overpriced for what you got even though it is a 5 star hotel.

Would we go back?I think you can get much better value for money on the island - but the rooms were extremely nice for familys. - so maybe............

Great family hotel. Stayed in May 2006 with a 8months baby and 3 year old girl. Had a great time and the children also .Food is good, swimming pool - very good children place (also for the baby) with own swinningpool and big play ground. Lovely child nanny's. Good food - very expensive buffet - but the other restaurant (especilly Japanse) is good. Very big connecting rooms.
