The room is a furnace - dated and very basic, the room is certainly not up to Holiday Inn standards. The aircon is old and does not cool well, and is activated by a motion detector which has to wait for you to enter your room almost like a burglar, before it gets activated. There has to be a limit to cost management particularly since the aircon is quite ineffective in any case. After several calls to the reception all to which I was questioned whether I had left the balcony door open they did get some housekeeping staff to inspect and they said the aircon was okay. I insisted it was not and then was moved to another room where it was marginally better. Oh...and before I forget I opened the safe in my room to find a pair of knicers lying in it ......so much for housekeeping at the Holiday Inn.

We very much regret that you did not consider it was cool enough at the hotel. We note you were coming from Dubai and I know that in that part of the world rooms are usually kept much cooler. However, we see your point and appreciate that in the summer months, particularly July and August, our power fob system (an energy saving device which cuts off the cooling when the guest leaves the room) might not be so efficient because it then may take some time to achieve the coolness some guests require when returning to their room. We shall look into this matter and see how the system could be improved upon.

Pleasant hotel with beautiful location, swimming pool and beach a few feet away!
Walking distance to shops and restaurants and there are lots of them.
Hotel evening nights Wednesday Nights Greek dancing and Thursday nights Latin dancing were perfect for an evening entertainment.
Would recommend it!

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel in Limassol. Good location, atmosphere, clean and very well equipped rooms, free parking. We'll come back to this hotel absolutely.

Stayed here for four nights with my wife as our first trip away without the children. Emailed reception in advance to ensure a sea view room as we were using priority club points.

Hotel is in an outstanding position right on the sea front with only a small foot path between the outdoor pool and the beach. Whole hotel was spotless with seemingly more staff than guests.

Days spent by the pool were warm and relaxing with great outdoor bar to complement the internal bar and restaurant. Food and drink generally good value but compromised by the exchange rate.

Room was standard Holiday Inn but nice and roomy with good aircon and great views from the balcony. Car parking on site is free for guests.

Only thing we would do differently would be to eat in the hotel more. Tried some of the local restaurants but were over priced or got fed up waiting for service. Ate in the hotel on the last night and were bowled over by both the price and the quality. Holiday Inn in the UK could learn a lesson or two from the guys in Limassol.

Refurbishments of the public areas were completed in March 2009

I have been visiting the Holiday Inn, Limassol for well over 20years, not only because of its wonderful location on the edge of the Mediteranean . Each visit is like coming home thanks to the welcome of the friendly and attentive managment and staff.
For business in Limassol or pleasure, this location is perfect.
