I was invited by business associates at this Cypriot tavern for dinner during the week in early September. The usual Meze menu was offered- many courses one could never finish which comprised all the Greek Cypriot delicacies including grilled halloumi, sausages, sieftalia, tomato bulgur, kebab, lamb chops etc My favorite was the desert, freshly fried hot loukoumades! The restaurant with a large outdoor seating was packed- one could never guess that the island is going through a financial crisis. Located close to Limassol in the village of Moutayiaka, it can be easily reached from the beach hotels area, east of the town. Both the food and service were good; a couple of evenings later I had a meal at an "ofto" restaurant in Nicosia that I enjoyed more.
