We stayed here for 2 weeks in September. This was a return to Cyprus and Lordos for us after 20 years absence. We were disappointed to find that the bar and kitchen were no longer operating so there was no focal point for guests. Apparently most guests are now business people. The apartment was spacious and quite clean apart from some of the kitchen equipment. The linen was changed regularly and the bedroom air conditioned although you had to pay extra for air con in the living room. Although this is classed as self catering there was no oven, only a 2 ring hob and the equipment allocation was not generous. There was a fair priced laundry service and the manager was very helpful and knowledgeable about the island. The location is convenient for the beach and the local bus to town or the inter town bus service. There is a department store and supermarket next door and some restaurants/cafes nearby. Good wifi is useful. The hotel is much as we remembered and we would return.

We prefer to stay in apartments for the extra space and the option to be able to cook rather than eat out all the time, so Lordos Apartments fit the requirement perfectly. It is excellently located within sight of the beach and just behind the Debenhams store that has its own supermarket for food.
The apartment itself was spacious yet quite basic. Lounge had a sofa, a couple of chairs and a flat screen tv, whilst bedroom had a desk, wardrobe and a safe, however the kitchen is a bit disappointing as it does not have nearly enough equipment to really be able to cook and only an electric hob, no oven or microwave which is limiting and certainly an area for improvement.
The bathrooms are also showing age and getting a little tired and could do with a refit.
When we arrived everything had a coating of dust indicating the apartment hand't been used in a while. Although the cleaner did come each day whilst we were there, it would have been better if it had been given a once over before we arrived.
Another slight negative is the Wifi that is advertised does not work in the rooms and only in the lobby and even here it was quite slow.

The staff are very friendly, the location is great and whilst there are some areas for improvment (the biggest being kitchen facilities) if you are happy with basic accomodation this makes a good base in limassol

The hotel has wonderful location - 5 min. walk from the beach, near the Debenhams store. Excellent internet connecion was a must for me, and it was really good. The stuff was friendly and always willing to help.

The Lordos is a basic hotel in the center of limassol. Don't expect anything fancy but it has good internet connectivity, a helpful staff, its pretty clean, has a good location and cheap prices. They offer suites at very cheap prices and while the furniture is basic, it is clean and has a good kitchen. It is right next store to a large grocery so you can eat cheaply at home.
