Salt lake is nice only when there is water after the rains from October onwards. Beside the lake is the Tekkesi mosque. Lake attracts lots of migratory birds when they fly south on their way to warmer weather.

“Nice when full of water”

Around November time when the lake fills with water from the rains we get many Flamingos stopping over and is a great sight to see. There is also the wonderful Tekke Mosque to visit.

“Salt lake is a must see.”

Well, salt lake is a must see, any season is fine (I prefer to be there late afternoon since in day time is always very warm, around 4.30 winter and 7.15 summer
