“Just an old Fort”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

As attractions go this has to be one of the cheapest at just 1.70 euros entry, but then theres not much to see, a small museum a few artifacts and the fort ruins. Still for the price it's worth popping in for an hour whilt you're on your travels.

“Larnaca Fort And Museum”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

Larnaca Fort stands on the shore at the south end of ‘Phoinikoudes’corniche and was probably built during the reign of James I to protect the town’s harbour. The fort appears to have had the form of a square tower it has a courtyard in the centre. At the entrance of the fort on the north side is a two - storey building. Many rooms of the fort are used as a museum, exhibiting items related to its long history accessed by stairs. The courtyard is used for cultural events, especially during summer they have musical nights too. The lower Courtyard is accessible for Wheelchairs.
There are many Cannons in the grounds which would be of interest to children.
