it had got a lot of coverage in the newspapers so thought we would try it out!! finally found it - because it's in the centre of the old village - and a small room at Just So Crafty! it's a quaint effort as handicraft stuff is sold in the basement for crafty people and if u want to have a piece of cake or cup of tea or soup then u go upstairs. parking - either in antonio g hotel and walk or in the streets - even though quite narrow. it's a room - don't expect more - 3 small tables and a couch and fireplace. there's a counter and a very sweet english lady running the show. cold when the door open - it's very hilly in oroklini and the breeze freezing in the winter. so we tried to huddle by the fireplace - but good job i was wearing a thick jacket!!! no carpet to make it cosier which wouldn't have gona amiss!! underneath the fireplace needed a good sweep!! very friendly service and cakes made alternatively, one day it's chocolate, next day muffins, etc. tea served in a teapot - steaming hot - which is lovely actually!! not a great selection however, but they have just opened!! i guess we are spoilt when we go to cafes and hotels where the whole dilmah empire is produced infront of you in a wooden case!! cake very delicious - even though the coffee table was too low and my bit fell on the floor - nevermind!! recipe books scattered around so that's where the ideas come from. very english atmosphere with the photoframes on the wall of the union jack, etc! it's a simple cafe style stop. it's a good idea i suppose for ladies who want to have a chat in the village and buy some thread or something. as it's the old style shutters - can be a bit dark inside. it was ok. i enjoyed my tea - as i got 2.5 cups out of it which heated me up well!! prices extremely good - very very fair. good luck - maybe the summer will seat people outside and enjoy the lovely breezes!!
