“Nice hotel but needs work on interior decor”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2012

Stayed a few nights in this hotel with my boyfriend and some friends.
Outside of hotel looks beautiful, plenty car park space. Inside the hotel lobby was nice too but the bedrooms were a bit of a let down. The bedroom was a little small, beds were soft and the bed covers and curtains had a floral pattern which I think is quite old fashioned. Bed sheets weren't changed for us either as I still found traces of hair on my pillow and dust fluff.
Breakfast was lovely, food was fresh, plenty selection and was constantly topped up by cooks and staff. The interior of the breakfast room had a lot of floral decor as well so for me, it felt a little like sitting in a cafe.
Hotel is located pretty far from things, would need a car to get about to places.
Restaurant next to pool served really nice food, had a good choice of food on the menu and wasn't too overly priced. Sun beds were dotted all around the pool but it did at times get a little difficult to find some available. Pool staff walk around asking customers if they'd like drinks or refreshments brought to them which I thought was very good.
When choosing a hotel, the location is very important and we didn't feel like this one was in a great place however staying with friends made this an enjoyable stay.

I visited here as part of a large party attending a conference - so my feedback should be taken in that context. It was my first visit to Cyprus. The hotel is on the beach and the highlights are - sparkly lights on the driveway to the hotel, great welcome from the staff, very reasonable drinks prices (3.50 euros for a glass of wine), and good breakfast included in rate - which was good too. Less than good points - a tired hotel, slow and noisy lift, old style TV on the blink, couldn't open sliding doors to balcony (I was unlucky, overlooking the car park - apparently the view of the sea on the opposite side was spectacular), old school hairdryer, and the WiFi, even when paid for was unreliable. I saw a young family there, that were having a great time and I think that is the profile of guest that would suit this best. Us spoilt business travellers probably expect more comfort and better facilities ;-)

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the sea.

We were put into this hotel "by default" by travel agent.Rooms as expected, well cleaned and changed.VERY noisy due thin walls and scraping of chairs on balconys (up,down and sideways rooms) even it was off-season.Due this fact outside eating places closed-up,even the super lounge bar just abitarily closed during second week of stay with no sign or notice to that effect(they saved on "happy-hour as no such event in lounge bar/cafe). Cannot agree with others that breakfast super etc.,just bog-standard and mostly cold, with bacon not even cooked through (nasty streaky type with slices all stuck together in almost raw fat).Evening buffet very poor with just usual stew type dishes kept hot for several hours and NO carvery except ONCE a week when lauded as a special event; did improve when changed to Table d'hote however. Will NOT stay again

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the last few years and it continues to maintain its high standards of service and friendliness. We had a room (303) facing the gardens which are extensive and beautifully maintained. The room was very clean and the maid service efficient. Breakfast is buffet style and is probably the most extensive choice I have seen for some time. They did let themselves down on one occasion when the eggs were cold as was the bacon.Ok we did not go down for breakfast until 9.45 but that was the case on most days. That however was the exception and the dining room staff were so friendly and helpful. We travelled in late November and the temperature was 22/24 degrees most days. The pool is excellent and Steve looked after us very well arranging loungers etc. The Adelphi lounge has a terrace overlooking the sea and rear gardens and Celia provided excellent service there. We did not have dinner in the restaurant where they have a different themed cuisine every evening at 25 euros as we preferred to eat in the Tavernas over the road. There is a bus service into Larnaca from the front of the hotel this costs 1 euro and takes about 10 minutes. Connections can be made there to other parts of the island,we went to Nicosia most interesting place to visit. There was a conference at the hotel while we were there, and during their breaks they tended to take over the terrace areas, it would have been better had they remained in the conference areas of the hotel. Just a minor point in what was once more a very pleasant stay and we would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Third and fourth floors have better views. Garden views are every bit as good as sea views .

Very clean and awesome location on the beach. Had events most of the days to keep the people busy that stayed there. Only problem i had was with the wi-fi, its free in the lobby, but had to pay 19 Euro's for 3 days and was incredibly slow in the lobby and in the room. And my room 406...mattress felt like it has not been changes since the 80's but still had a good rest at night though Otherwise close to many places to eat and was very easy to find. Great value for money.

Our first trip to Cyprus, Larnaka & it was perfect. The hotel & staff was lovely, maid service every day, left rooms & corridors smelling fresh. The food was excellent, we had B&B but tried the evening meals which was a different cuisine each night, Greek Asian Italian French nights, buffet style, help yourself, wide choice, great value, some entertainment. We tried a few local restaurants, a short walk away which also had great food excellent value. Our room was lovely, a few minor problems, the flush on the toilet & the shower but nothing to moan about. The small private beach was just right with the very helpful Steve who puts out the chairs & cushions, the sea was so safe for children, calm clear & you could walk right out to the rocks. We were so lucky to have chosen this place for our wedding, they made our day so perfect & special. Some of our family stayed in the beautiful bungalows which were well equipped with a lovely pool, a short walk from hotel. Planet Holidays wedding coordinator Eve was excellent along with Laura & Bibe at the hotel, they made it so much more than we had expected. Although we never go back to the same place twice we are hoping to return for our first anniversary as this place will always now be special to us.

Room Tip: We was in 104 at the front of the hotel with lovely views then got upgraded to 132 with a beautiful...
