“Very Good Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2013

Stayed here for a single night on business and it was very good value. My room was very well designed with comfortable bed , large flat screen tv and effective air con. The bathroom was even better - stylish fittings , excellent , large shower and fine toiletries . There were also nice touches such as a bowl of fruit , a small bottle of wine and bottled water.
Less impressive was the balcony view over the row of shops and nightclubs ( I was there midweek and so wasn't bothered by noise , but I could see that one could be at weekends as others have said ) . It is very close to the seafront which is where the action is. Breakfast was ok , wi if free in the lobby and available in the rooms at a cost.

Room Tip: Not overlooking the nightclub

I had a marvellous stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel to singles/couples/family as the service is fantastic and very friendly staff. the breakfast is of good quality and a large variety of hot and cold. the rooms have tea and coffee making facilities which is a very nice touch. the rooms are very clean and well kept. it is centrally located in town. so all the shops restaurants are walking distance.
the only thing I would suggest is putting a small table and couple of chairs on the balcony for the smokers..
the location is 3 minutes walk to the beautiful palm fringed beach.

Clean, well equipped rooms with all you need for a comfortable stay, including wi-fi in the room with good speed. Just a bit noisy for the rooms with window on the street, because of some sort of engine noise from the kitchen or air conditioning of the restaurants.

spent a weeks holiday at the Amorgos Hotel. We found the staff very friendly, My wife suffers with coeliacs disease and the Hotel went out of there way to make sure she had gluten free bread and cereals every morning. it is situated down a small back street, so no parking. The rooms are very well appointed with tea/coffee making facilities, a safe and plenty of toiletries. The only down side is that if you have a room facing the front of the hotel, on Friday & Saturday nights there is a night club just across from the entrance, and it can get very noisy around midnight. From Airport to Hotel it was 15 euros, but from hotel to airport it was 12 euros plus 1.5 euros per suitcase in the boot

Room Tip: if possible dont have a room near the lifts, can be noisy and because of weekend night club a room a...

we had a fantastic time at the Amorgos hotel: the rooms are large, clean and comfortables, the breakfast in the morning excellent and the position is central but with avaiabilty of car-parkings,
only point less good is the Wi-fi, when I was there I had to go at the Mc Donalds in front (40 meters)..........................

There was more good things than bad,

Good: the hotel facilities were very stylish, especially the shower room which was so nice and roomy you could fit 2 or more people in there plus there was so many complimentary items you were really spoilt for choice, from a toothbrush set to bottles of wine.

The breakfast was also good with plenty of choices we went up a good few times to sample everything, the location is really close to the beach, marina, bars and restaurants. We could see the sea from our room, shame they were other buildings in the view. The terrace area was also spacious and clean.

Bad: Beware, it's difficult to find the hotel with the narrow streets and the one way system. Also there is no on-site parking, However you do get offered a free parking pass to the nearest car park with the exchange of 20 Euro refundable deposit.

Our room was opposite the lift and we heard it when people were using it on a regular basis, it was a little annoying but thankfully later in the evening it was less often but still could of done without the noise.

Putting the small convenience aside it was a pleasant stay, the staff were helpful, the food was good, just avoid to get a room close to the lift and prepare your journey to this hotel so it doesn't become a frustrating trying to find your way around.
