Was part of a group of ten people (eight locals, two from the United States) meeting there for a reunion dinner. Sat at rectangular table where I could hear everyone; terrific three-hour feast that included bread, pureed beets, olives, chicken livers, chicken moussaka, spinach fried with egg, fritters, mushrooms, stuffed peppers, cheeses, spreads, short ribs, salmon, jelly in rosewater, rose-flavored ice cream, and a honey-soaked pastry, washed down with lots of mineral water and Zivania. Service was attentive and friendly. TV nearby showing soccer games but not intrusive. I'm going to try to recreate the beet dish for myself when I get back to the US, it was that good.
