5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2012 via mobile

Had fantastic time, hotel is lovely, clean service is good , staff friendly, food is good plentiful wide variety. Rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable . Would deffinatly come back . Bit isolated but we hired a car so not a problem, roads are good to drive on and fairly empty . Weather was nice for December even managed to sit on the beach. Only thing I didn't like was the cats hanging around and begging for food in the outdoor dining area , they are a right pest and some were pregnant so going to be more of a problem. Otherwise a perfect hotel .

For the cost of this 'special aIl inclusive' holiday I was most impressed with this hotel although it is a little out on a limb and somewhat isolated. However, there was a good tour service offered and free entertainment every evening at the hotel. There were also 3 pools at the hotel, a gym, sauna and turkish bath as well as a therapy centre. The service was excellent. The rooms were clean and presentable and sheets and towels changed every day. Small problems, once reported, were dealt with immediately. The buffet stye meals in the restaurant were superb, both in presentation and variety and would be difficult to find fault with. The table service once again excellent with empty plates being cleared away within a minute or two after use.
The only criticism I would have about the hotel restaurant would be that there were too many cats begging around the tables. Other than that nothing to complain about and providing cat issue dealt with would thoroughly recommend.

After a dreadful experience of an All Inclusive holidays a the Turtle Beach in Zante we were a little guarded when a freind suggested another All Inclusive holiday at the Salamis Bay Conte in North Cypres. The flights with Pegasus went well and the transfers were well organised. First week in December the weather was mixed. The hotel was descibed as five star and nearly made it. Rooms are well furnished and clean, (if you like the sun make sure you ask for the sunny side of the hotel) Even in December all ameneties were working well, Sauna, Turkish Baths, Massage, Hair dressing ect. Food was varied and good quality. drinks were always availble and served by friendly staff. Well positioned for excursion to Nicosia 45 minutes, Famagusta 10 mnutes (if you want to take the shuttle bus book it early as seats are limited, only £1.80 return) If you take a car (approx £20.00 a day) avoid rush hours and note parking is difficult. This holiday was booked through Mercury Direct for £319.00, fantastic value for money, I will definitely be returning to Northern Cypres.

Room Tip: Ask for the sunny side and you will be able to use your balcony all day long

We booked 2 nights and upon arrival booked a third. The booking was very difficult while in country, however this did not detract from the our fantastic stay. All inclusive was very convenient, because the Hotel is a 30 minute shuttle ride to Farmagusta. The only detraction from an almost perfect stay was an unreliable wifi and way too many smokers. Management should be ashamed. They could pay for broadband and fans. The price is more than reasonable. 5 meals a day sitting overlooking the Bay was a totally relaxing stay. We live in Vegas so we know fabulous hotels with great air circulation. One of a few places we plan to return to.

Room Tip: Bay view is nice if it doesn't cost more

After a hectic summer ,me my wife decided to have a winter break with our two sons,One is 4 years and the other is 1,5 years of age.Because of the location our choice was Salamis Bay
Hotel, , Cyprus. The room was good enough to accommodate 4 people and the food was
very good and quality at all respect. On our final day ,they let us stay till our late evening flight.
MORE, they offered free dinner. The hotel is family friendly and the staff was very help full.We
really enjoyed our stay at Salamis Bay Hotel in Cyprus.

Room Tip: Rooms on the south side are more sunnier in the winter times.

What is the problem with those who write poor reviews about this hotel? This is a first class hotel, with first class facilities. The food is generous and excellent, with plenty of variation. The rooms are clean, certainly on the 8th floor, and appear recently decorated with new furnishings. The all inclusive drinks can always be better, but as you would expect, and as stated, they are local drinks. We holidayed from 12th November for 10 days, at a cost of £46.00 per day each. This includes a great hotel, all food, all drinks and includes flights. There are no problems, it is up to you to make it a positive experience; so go for it.

Room Tip: Go for the 8th floor. All rooms have been recently refurbished.

Hotel and pool good but food was dreadful - only minimal salads, small bony fish and overcooked veg. Soup was good but always cool. Would not go again. Had to ask twice for the room to be cleaned. Restaurant was like a canteen. Entertainment in the evening was abysmal. All inc.usive drinks were of a very poor quality.

Room Tip: Yes, do not go!
