A bit remote. You follow an earth road for about 30min in order to reach the area of the gorge. Best to get there in a 4x4. There is a parking lot near the start of the nature trail with picnic benches and running water. Pleasant walk - the nature trail is not difficult in the summer months when the waters in the river are low and you reach the narrowest and most interesting part of the gorge within 30min. In the winter or spring the level of the water is higher. I visited once in April and couldnt proceed to the interesting bits / reach the gorge! Spring is the blooming season of the endemic flower - centaurea akamantis. On the cliffs above the trail there are flocks of wild goats and sometimes you get the impression that they are laughing at you!! A pleasant day in nature. If you have time, after your visit you may carry on on the earth road for another hour or so until you reach beautiful lara bay - look for references on trip advisor!
