Booked for one night via their webpage. Decision based entirely on Trip Advisor and webpage images. Room was clean and prices decent. No elevator and upper floors accessible with spiral staircase. Big bags not advisable. Hot water not a problem and rooms were comfortable. No free parking. Village is small, and quaint. Plenty places to eat, a few sights, and generally relaxing environment. Only had breakfast and drinks at the hotel, which was adequate. Breakfast was pretty standard continental. Well presented and satisfying, if you don't want fried eggs and biscuit with gravy. Served Bofferding (pilsner) beer on tap and a Hefeweizen which I did not remember. The staff has some limited English (certain persons) but not all. Menus in French. Noise from the street is something to consider if you are not used to this kind of thing. The stone street echoes voices and footsteps with surprising clarity, even on the third floor. While I was not bothered, my wife was annoyed and found it difficult to sleep. No air conditioning, so open windows are required. They seem to have some problems with credit cards that are not European, as neither of my USA issued VISA cards worked, even after numerous attempts with various French instructions from the staff. I finally caved in and walked to the local bank and got the required funds in Euro using the same VISA card in the bank ATM. Go figure? Other than that, a pleasant stay.
