What a disappointment. Having anticipated an exciting evening of first class entertainment as advertised, plusdinner, we were treated to a show that a provincial theatre group would have been pleased to have put on - at a west end show cost! The concept is a good one and the set up must have cost a fortune but something needs doing badly to address the sound system and the action in the show. Queuing to get in took ages, due to the fact that everyone (unless they had the temerity to say no) was being photographs with a knight holding a falcon. A fair try on the secondary spend issue (the pics cost 5 euros) but a time waster. And then we sat for 30 minutes listening to mediaeval type music on a loop before anything happened.
To be fair, the food was OK, we specially liked the savoury rice starter and the fruit crumble type dessert but the wine would have passed for paintstripper. And the service was slick and speedy, ensuring that, even with 100's of people, food arrived hot and fresh. This concept has so much potential but is sloppy. There are so many other lovely things to do on this beautiful island, which is full of friendly people and lovely food. Just avoid the 'Knights spectacular' cos it isn't!
