“Lovely”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2014

Great architecture and you can feel the history. Tickets were part of the malta pass deal. I wouldn't pay to go inside. Not much to see, and its a working government building, we got chucked out because the president was coming.

“Malta's history brilliantly conserved and presented.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2014

A display extremely well set out with a very informative audio guide. To allow the public to view rooms in a working building and see visitors to the president is rare. An attraction that Malta should be very proud of.

“Very interesting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2013

A very attractive building with 2 interesting plaques on the front of the building. One from Buckingham Palace awarding the Island of Malta the George Cross for her outstanding service during WW2. The other one is saying the same thing and a is a thank you from the American people. What an Island this is. The palace is very special with some amazing displays. The tapestries are stunning, never seen anything like is and the displays, I did not know there was so much amour in the world. I though I may get bored, but not. Combined with the history of Malta all round the rooms it was a very good place to visit.

“Impressive Armor and Amory”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2013

The palace rooms were lovely, especially the Tapestry Chamber and the "hall of knights" were armored knights are posted all along its length. The ceilings and wall murals were lovely. I am not normally interested in armory displays but the palace's collection is exceptional and very interesting even to those of us less inclined. They were labeled with sufficient history to make it informative and relevant. The time line of development of various suits of armor, helmets and shields were intriguing. Be sure to notice the plaques on outside of the palace with proclamations from UK's King George VI and USA's President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

“The best tapestries ever!”

The tapestries hanging here are quite extraorinary! Better than anything I have ever seen, anywhere else.
