“The jewel in the crown”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

Of all the lovely builings in Valletta this is the most beautiful. Cool court yards, gracious state rooms with painted ceilings and a collection of tapestries. There is also a vast collection of armour.

“Well worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

I very much enjoyed seeing round the palace and also seeing where parliament sits. I wasn't so keen on the armoury but am sure the boys will love this.

“DON'T MISS THE ARMOURY”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

The palace itself is not fully open to the public but the decoration and fixtures that are accessible provide just enough interest for the visitor. The is only an audio guide for the armoury and this give short and sharp details of the wonderful displays. Some of the items are exquisite in their workmanship and design. Best part of the visit.

“The Splendour of The GrandMasters Palace in Valletta, Malta”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012

the GrandMasters Palace or as it is now known The President's Palace is one of the highlights of the capital city of Malta. Built in the late years of the sixteenth century by the Maltese architect Giloromo Cassar, the Palace is adorned with great beautiful halls. Its building style is baroque. Every Maltese and foreigner should at least once in his life visit this palace and admire its halls especially the Tapestry Hall, the Ambassadors Hall, the Throne Hall, etc.
The courtyards are worth visiting two. In these courtyards one can admire The Venetian Clock and the Giant's Statue which shows Neptune.
One can also visit here The Parliament which later on this year or early next year will close its doors because Parliament will be moving to The New Parliament's House just besides the New Entrance to Valletta.
Malta is truly a very small island but its history is one of the greatest in the world.

“Well worth seeing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

Very interesting to see the grand surroundings of the Palace. You do 5 rooms in all plus the very extensive Armoury with lots of stuff from 16th and 17th Centuries.
Well worth a visit.
Cost of 10 Euros is quite good value.
