“An expensive Stop!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2013 via mobile

Had just left Micheals after a wonderful evening and decided to let it carry on with a Bottle of Wine from Anjelicas. Big mistake. Bottle of Pinot Bianco 19 Euro! I understand you have to make a profit but come on. Expensive seems to be common about this place. Shame as it looks quite quirky

“Not for us”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013

Angelica's is a very small, cramped cafe which has pretensions to being a restaurant. Went for dinner and food is average and very expensive - cheapest white wine was a nondescript South African bottle at €14.60 while the Pinot Grigio was €26! Would not return.

“Stopped for tea”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2013

No menu means you have no idea about the price €14 for cup of tea, coffee mocka and donut stuffed with cream. Rude and abrupt service from owner, wish we had read the comments first!

“Cosy Atmosphere :)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

I have been waiting to visit the place, as I saw a lot of nice photos and heard so many nice comments. The place is small but really nicely decorated and kept. It has a particular unique style It is expensive but the cupcakes are delicious so it is a worth dropping by and try :)

“Small but beautifully formed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2013

I can't believe some of the previous reviews as this place is great.
The owner, Mona, is a really interesting lady who is very knowledgeable and passionate about food and wine. Her selection of packaged goods rates as high as any delicatessen anywhere.
This place is stuffed with exquisite goodies to take home.
The menu is small but the food is delicious.
Decor is very individual, even going to the loo is an experience!!
I look forward to going back when next in Valleta.
