“The best meal in town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

A wonderful small restaurant. The food was very good, staff friendly and prices very good for the high standard of food. The toilet was the cleanest I had found in Malta.

“Do not miss it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

Recently we spent a few days in Valetta and tripped over this restaurant by chance. What an unexpected piece of lack! Old but well maintained building, fantastic atmosphere. We entered around 6.30 pm -very early because we had theater tickets for 8 pm- and the restaurant was still empty. Somewhat later it was packed with famished quests. We were served by the owner who was kind, helpful and told us lots of thing about restaurant’s history. Food was gorgeous. At first we got tasters: rabbit and veal liver pate with toast. For the main dish we ordered lamb and fish and we enjoyed every bit of it. We drank two different type of Maltase Chardonnay and I must say both were delicious. Overall this is a friendly restaurant with first-rate food, flavored local wines, and reasonable price. So we highly recommend this restaurant for everybody.

“My Experience at Guze Bistro”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

My niece and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Guze Bistro in Valletta, Malta. We arrived unannounced at approximately 7PM, ahead of the evening crowd, and were seated immediately. The host was very hospitable and described the renovation of the 500-year-old building (now beautifully transformed) as we awaited our meal. The food (a salmon plate) was excellent and the prices very reasonable. (Restaurant food prices in Malta are a real bargain!) I heartily recommend Guze Bistro, but arrive early -- the place fills up by 8 PM!

Lovely atmosphere in this cosy restaurant. Loved the bread with its oil and sun blushed tomato pots!
Fabulous service and well cooked food!

An exquisite restaurant: fabulous food, atmosphere, and service. Tucked away but well worth tracking it down.
