“Sea View Apartment, Malta”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

The Apartment is excellent for couples who want to have their private time. The view is excellent from this place. Kurt, the guy who works there is excellent and gave us all the tips on where to buy groceries or go eat. He was also very helpful in orienting us about the place. Above all he is very funny and one would have a good time to know a bit of Malta through Kurt.

The apartment has a kitchen which is well equipped with utensils however you have to buy everything starting with Salt and Pepper. Kurt was generous to lend us the salt and pepper shaker for two days :)

Please do not except five star standards but it is the best for quiet private moments. The view and fireworks from the sea will brighten your day and night!

Room Tip: This is the only room of a kind, if you get a chance to stay here, you must, atleast for the view. T...

The B&B has nice rooms and decorations. Facilities are good. And the staff, very friendly and helpful.
Next time, when i come to Malta for another vacation, i'll definitely choose Palazzo Sant Ursula again.

Stayed for a couple of days at the Sea View Apartment available from the excellent Palazzo Sant Ursula staff. The spacious and unique apartment, consisting of a comfortable bedroom, a well-equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom, is perfectly located overlooking Valletta's beautiful north shore (fantastic top-floor view from a typical Maltese balcony), 150 m from Sliema ferry and an easy walk from the central bus station. The neighbourhood is quiet and relatively authentic for Valletta standards.

The perfect place for a getaway for those who look for the extraordinary - self-caterers will appreciate the generous kitchen, and pretty much anybody will love the charming bedroom and balcony, all furnished with a very personal touch and attention to detail (vintage floor tiles and floating white curtains, etc.).

A couple of particularities should be mentioned, however: there are plenty of stairs to climb to this gem (and no elevator for the comfortably-minded), there is no internet, and - as I think has become clear - the apartment is on the other side of Valletta from the Palazzo, so there is no staff at hand, no breakfast and no other guests.

Loved it.

Room Tip: For absolutely ANYTHING, don't hesitate ask the lovely staff at the Palazzo! Without them, looki...

super helpful staff and great location. Quick walk to the bus station and the b&b has a lovely view from the roof top. The roof top has lounge chairs to lay out on when you just want to relax in the sun or in the shade. Also it is about a 15 minute ride from the airport by taxi and about 45 minutes by bus. Very convenient location because easy access to the buses. The room was comfortable and spacious :) we would love to stay again!

I stayed here in a single room (Marie-Antoinette room, so pretty) for 3 nights. The couple running the place is so nice and welcoming, you get keys to your room and the front door so there's no awkwardness coming back late or coming and going, and they gave great recommendations on what to do and how to get there. Rooms were clean, breakfast food was out every morning - a make-it-yourself style, host invited us for hanging out in the afternoons (I got to meet people from France, Austria, and Spain at meals). Internet was fast and reaches to the roof-top garden - a perfect place to tan or read or write postcards. Valletta is super accessible and you can get to and from everywhere on the island with the easy busses.

Room Tip: Ask about where the room is - there's no elevator so if stairs are hard for you you'll want...

Pretty rooms, lovely people and the perfect stay on a getaway. It's been a year but I'll always hold the scenic view from the roof of the palazzo, music in the air and a glass of wine in my memory forever.
